In May of 2018 Ms. Danielle Gary and I made an agreement for her to install hair extensions in my hair.  The agreement was that I pay a $200 deposit to secure a appointment and then after I purchase the packs of extension hair we would book the appointment day and she would install it.  

Ms. Gary initially had quoted the packs of hair to cost $200-$250 which I agreed I could afford.  After I paid the $200 deposit, Ms. Gary drastically changed quote and said the cost of the hair was actually going to be closer to $500-$600 which I absolutely could not afford.  I explained to her that because of the inaccurate quote for the hair I could no longer afford the services and wanted my deposit back.  

Ms. Gary then told me that her deposits are non-refundable, which was the first time this had ever been mentioned.  I explained to her that increasing the cost of the hair to something I couldn't afford after I had already given her a deposit and then telling me that the deposit was non-refundable wasn't fair or a good business practice and was grounds for a refund whether it was non-refundable or not.  

After a good amount a text exchanges, Ms. Gary agreed to issue me a refund as a "one time curtesy".  She gave me a date that she was going to pay be back on which was a few weeks out and on that day I followed up with her about the refund.  Ms. Gary became extremely hostile when I asked about the refund and claimed she had no money, yet she was going on vacations and posting them on social media.

Three months went by and Ms. Gary had not sent me any money, even after I offered for her to pay me back in small installments of $20/mo since she claimed to be financially struggling. 

After three months I got the feeling that I was never going to get my money back and requested a different service from her that I could afford.  She canceled on me four times and then eventually just told me she will have to give me a refund because she was to busy. 

It's now been almost seven months and I still have no refund.

She has blatantly ignored my texts and calls and has given me every excuse in the book as to why she can't pay me back.  

Do NOT hire this girl, she's a liar and a scam artist.  She will take your deposit and never give you services and/or your money back.
