DAP RUGGET, INCDAP RUGGET - Cedric King Rip-off, false representation, slander, deformation of character, harassment Atlanta Georgia

The company by the name of Dap-Rugget, Inc. has totally ripped me off and went out of their way to disrespect me, my family and everything that I stand for for absolutely no reason whatsoever. In early 2003, I met an individual by the name of Cedric King who called me based on works that I've done in Atlanta for another client. My field is graphic design and visual communications so word of mouth spreads fast in cities like Atlanta. The individual known as Cedric King, CEO of Dap-Rugget, Inc. asked me to do design work for various corporations in which he was working as a liason for. Cedric King would never be on time with payments and when he would finally pay, it would never be what we agreed on.

I was later asked to come on board and help him develop his clothing line which was inspired and resembled Ralph Lauren Polo almost to a tee. We agreed on a monthly contract in which he signed but was never on time with the payments. As the year went on, Cedric King would fail to deliver payments on time more consistently and there were even times where I wasn't paid at all for designs that were completed. After the project was done, Cedric King went on to tell people that he was the designer and that he did all of the design work and that I had absolutely nothing to do with the creative process. He since then has accused me of stealing a laptop from his office and told all of my associates fabricated stories about me in order to deform my character. I had the passcode to his office building because I would work late nights trying to make his vision into a presentable reality. I came in one night and discovered that someone had robbed them. I called him and he was out at a club while I was at the office trying to work on his project so he did not pick up his phone. I then called the police and filed a police report. The glass on the front door was broken as well as his office window. I spoke to 2 different shifts of police men because I stayed there all night and safeguarded all of his equipment. Not one of the policemen took me down to the station for questioning as they did not believe that I did it.

When Cedric King finally arrived, he showed no appreciation and blamed me for his office being robbed that same day. Cedric King even went as far as to tell other clients that I commited a breaking and entry and grand larceny when I have never been convicted of this particular crime. Cedric King has slandered my name and still owes me money that I gave him to start production of my personal clothing line by the name of Ade' Athletix. I paid Cedric King $1,000 for technical packages and samples which never got done. Everytime I would ask about the technical packages, they would make jokes and wisecracks about my personal life and would even go to the extent of harassing me via AOL Instant Messenger for no apparent reason. I never saw a technical package and never heard about it ever again.
I gave Cedric King this money almost two years ago and still haven't been refunded. There is also another comapny by the name of Think Denim who encountered this same problem with Dap-Rugget Inc. The CEO of this company paid Dap-Rugget and Cedric King over $5000 to complete a technical which never got done.

Since then, these people harass me online, and fabricate stories about me to tell potential clients in order to downplay my graphic design skills and make themselves look proficient. They also tell potential clients that they taught me everything I know when they're the ones who found out about me and I knew nothing of Cedric King or his company, Dap-Rugget Inc. beforehand. Cedric King goes out of his way to disrespect me and make me look bad and I do not even live in Atlanta anymore. Cedric King is 10 years older than me but for some reason he feels that he has to make me look bad in order to market himself.

Cedric King did not have any presentable material when he called me nor was his clothing line in production.
I am currently getting my contracts together and am preparing to sue Dap-Rugget Inc. for deformation of character, slander, harassment, and for he $1000 that was never refunded.
