DATESNOW PTY ripoff Charging credit card account without my knowledge or prior consent. Internet

I am another victim of this merchant known as DATESNOW PTY.

My credit card account has been charged on seven times to date.

The pattern of charges posted to my account follows the method described on other reports. Normally a charge for $19.99 and $79.99 My credit card company received refunds from this merchant once for three charges. I am not sure how my credit card company secured refunds. My credit card company is reluctant to satisfy my requests time and time again to stop paying DATESNOW PTY. The reasoning offered is I must contact the merchant and cancel the authorisation agreement.

Unfortunately, this suggestion will prove difficult bearing in mind I have never received a proper receipt with details by email or through the post of this merchant. In other words, I have no idea the identity of this merchant. I know they are referred to as DATESNOW because that is the name which appears on my credit card statement.

The only idea I have with regard to this situation is I may have posted my credit card details to verify my age on line. The Paris Hilton video advertisment comes immediately to mind, but, I am not sure this is when or how I provided my credit card details. I surely did not expect my credit card to be charged nonetheless.
