David Stanley Dodge In Midwest City, Ok. Please NEVER buy a vehicle from David Stanley! Midwest City Oklahoma

I purchased a 2006 Stratus from David Stanley 2 years ago. I was told I would receive a 10 year, 100,000 mile warranty on it. I didn't realize when I signed the contract that they had only put a 36,000 mile warranty on the car. But since I didn't catch it, I signed the contract so there's nothing I can do. We had it in several times immediately after buying it for problems with acceleration, and a strange surging sound that happened when it idled. We were told every time there was nothing wrong with the vehicle.

Now we have a major oil leak, and were told by a mechanic that this is a known problem with this car and this particular size motor. He said that once the main seal blows, it's usually around 50k miles, and we are at 44k. He also said that once it is replaced, it will keep blowing. He replaced the seal, turned the car on, and it began dumping all over again. This has happened 3 times in the last 2 weeks.

He also upon first look at the vehicle found that the car has a rebuilt head on it, which I was NOT informed about when I purchased the vehicle. I was told by David Stanley that they will attempt to make the repairs but just to do a diagnostic on it is $90, and I've already spent several hundred dollars on the mechanic trying to repair it since David Stanley said it isn't under warranty and they charge way more than an outside mechanic ever would. I was also told that because it is an as-is warranty there's nothing I can do. It has been too long for the lemon law to apply, so I'm stuck with a car that doesn't drive and a huge car payment. I have been told by a mechanic that there's nothing else to do other than replace the motor.

Do not ever buy any vehicle from David Stanley. They told me they would finance me and that I would not have negative equity, and I am now $5,000 upside down in this car that I can't drive, even if I could get it fixed nobody will take it as a trade because I owe so much more than it's worth,and it happens to be the ONLY transportation my fiancee and I have. David Stanley will do whatever they can to make a deal and get the sale.

PLEASE do not ever purchase a car from them, you will regret it and they won't do anything to try to make it right. I am now to the point I may have to file bankruptcy to get out of it and try to find another vehicle before I end up losing my job, all thanks to David Stanley and their lies.
