DC Sales LLC Door to door sales Phoenix Arizona

My roommate and I just moved into our new place, so we didn't have hardly anything sorted and put away at this time. This took place on March 10,2015 and I was at work when it happened. These two guys knocked on the door and when my roommate anwered it they pretty much barged there way in saying they were apart of ASU and were selling some books and having people sign a paper to say that they had been there and that way they could recieve points for their class.

When they came in they kept asking my roommate if she could donate some money and had her sign this said paper for there class. When my roommate said she didn't have any money with her they asked if she could write a check then and she said she did not know where her checkbook was. They kept bugging her to look for it and she quickly skimed and told them she could not find it right then.

They then saw my checkbook and asked if that was hers and she said no that it was her roommates (aka mine). They then told her she could use my checkbook then and that she could just sign my name and that would be fine. My roommate refused to do that and then they bugged her again to look for her checkbook. She quick went to her room and went to text me to tell me a little bit of what was happening. Then all of a sudden they just said to her,"Thanks for your time" and then left.

When I got home later my friend told me about what happened and the first thing I did was check my checkbook and my instincts was right. They stole one of my checks and left. Then yesterday I looked in my bank account and there it was a $59 charge. There was a copy of the check and I knew at that point I was 100% sure that they stole it. They forged that check with falsified information and forged my signiture. 

If they come knocking on your door do not let them in just turn them away. Your better safe then sorry.
