D&D was hired through my general contractor to paint my new home. First he had a problem painting colors I wanted, just wanted to paint the entire thing white. After I convinced him to do what I wanted, he got the color of one room wrong, and told me I was to blame. I never said to paint that color.

He has been nothing but a hassle to work with from day one.

Then he demanded he be paid, when though the job was not done. He still had to do touch up (a part we had already paid for). To get this money he lied to me about having the paint company place a lien on my home. Its a lie because the paint company has no clue where the paint went that he used, nor do they care, he was the one who bought it.

After he threatened the lien and reported my general contractor to the state board, he was paid, about $8k. My contractor didn't want his name smeared, and I didn't want a lien. It is extortion, and fruad.

After he got this money and the garage was ready to be painted he returned to paint the garage, (I'm suprised he didn't re-charge us for that!) and painted it a flat white. It was supposed to be gloss gray, and he knew it. He also used substandard paint for the garage, not the higher quality paint that was used in the house.
Then went it came time to do the touch ups he wanted even more money, and refused to paint the garage and the incorrectly painted room unles we repaid (yet again!!!). There was some extra work, which we agreed to pay for.

Now he is threatening to sue me, yet has never contacted me for final payment. He has also threatened to place a lien on my property again.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH D&D PAINTING!

-Much of the touch up work was done by me.

-Paint on brand new carpeting (white paint on green carpet).

-And when painting the garage all of the other building supplies were moved out into pouring rain, and all of the wood products were ruined. This included cabinetry pieces that were stained and cut to be put in place.

-Overspray on teh stucco outside the garage door.

-The workers poured paint and wash water into a hole in the ground instead of disposing of it properly.

-Still tape on many of the hinges and other prepwork that has yet to be "unpreped"
