D.D.C. Sales, Inc. /Misleading of the contract Calumet City Illinois

 Hi I'm reporting a complaint on behalf of DDC Sales Inc. located at 646 Burnham Avenue Calumet City, IL 60409. My husband mentioned that he was having someone come over to clean our front room carpet by the name of Rayna Barkers. She came in trying to sell this vacuum once the carpet was cleaned. I have never heard this before because we always had random companies clean our carpets and we pay after service. She also ask for a boat load of referrals and mentioned that was required too.

She advised to me after cleaning the carpet that we were obligated to buy the cleaning system. I told her we were not told this and that she was just coming in to a a complimentary cleaning. She ask if we had a older vacuum and that she can take it and take off 718.90 the original price of the system.

Feeling trapped in a buy I decided that I had no choice and cancel the product as soon as I could do so. She advised to me that the cancellation was 30 days full refund. She came on Wednesday at 5/22/2013 and left at about 10:00pm. I called the very next day to the office to cancel and was not able to get through the number she gave me.

I called over a course of 2 days and still there were no answer. I left a message that was never returned in regards the cancellation of the cleaning system. I came down to the office at about 1:00pm on Saturday at 5/25/2013 and the office was closed.

I had my husband call down on Monday and someone finally answered the phone. He explained was happened and wanted to cancel the manager very irate said that it was too late that we were stuff with the machine verbatim. She said that it was a 3 day policy and that Saturday was considered as a business day.

I need some help because now I'm locked in with a 1700.00 valcuum cleaner that was falsely misrepresented. He was told that they carpet clean. I later found out researching the internet that this was a door to door sales scam!!!!!!!!!!I called the finance company and they have yet contacted me. 

Please help!!!!!
