I wish I'd known about the bad reputation of this company before I started using them over 2.5 years ago. After talking to Mike Reilly in their client department, we placed over $25,000 in debt with them with his assurances that the 5 accounts would be handled and we wouldn't have to pay over 40% on any of the accounts. Of the 5 accounts, they have settled on 2 of them, but at 60-75% of the balance.

One of the remaining accounts had an initial balance of less than $10,000 and I even had a settlement offer of around 60-70% but it wasn't settled. Now, since Debt Relief USA has done nothing in getting these accounts taken care of for me, that one account now has an amount owed of over $15,000. A judgment has been issued against me on this account which DR USA is ignoring. I submitted the judgment paperwork at the end of 2007, but they said they never received it...even though I got a confirmation that they did receive it.

So, I resubmitted the information and they did nothing with it until I called them back to see how the judgment is being handled. They said they don't know why I think there is a judgment against me on that account...so, I had to point it out to them that it says JUDGMENT clearly at the top of the page and has been filed with the Clerk of Court in my home county. I was told they would get back with me in a couple of days...it has now been three weeks and not a word from them. I leave over 3-5 messages every day and not one call back has been made to me. My next call to them tomorrow will be my last call, which will be followed with a call to my state Attorney General to file a civil complaint against the company.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

AUTHOR: Debt Relief Usa - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 23, 2008

The client service agreement states clearly that any settlements are approximate percentages and are variable by each creditor and client. Client service responces are variable by call volume and the ability to contact attorney offices for updated information. These types of situations do not allow for instant solutions or instant answers to questions. Upon investigation our Client service representative did contact you on April 11th reguarding this matter. Please contact Client Services and we would be glad to assist you with any clarification required.
