I ordered 2 items from DeepDiscount.com. 1 on Nov 23, and 1 on Nov 24, 2007 for Christmas Gifts for the kids, But we still have yet to receive them. I am STILL trying to get a striate forward answer as to why it is taking so long to receive my items and why they haven't been shipped yet, when we were assured that they would be.

I sent my First Email about a week before Christmas. Customer Service Emailed me back saying that they could not meet my Christmas deadline but they promised me that my order would be shipped on the Jan 4, 2008, well this pissed me off to say the least. I got the kids replacement presents for Christmas, but was very dissatisfied with DeepDiscount.com. Well, Jan 4, 2008 passed and I still had not received my order so I emailed DeepDiscount again on 01/07/2008 asking what the hell was going on with my order and they emailed me this letter.

We are sorry to inform you that your 2 orders are currently not in stock and we are expecting this items to be available in our warehouse on the 01/18/08. It will be shipped to you on the 01/18/08 via USP media mail and will be delivered to you within 5-10 business days. If the stock is delayed then we will update your
shipping method free of charge and assure you that your order is delivered to you.

First off, my Shipping was already FREE!! OOOhh, thanks for giving me something I already had DeepDiscount scum!! Jan 18th passed and my order was still not on my doorstep, I sent another Email and they sent this peace of crap back.

A few weeks ago, we told you your order would be shipped by now. Unfortunately, the vendor has been unable to deliver the item(s). We are hopeful that the item will be in stock within the next 21 days.

We will reserve your item on backorder and ship to you as soon as the product is available. If you ordered with a credit card, you will not be charged until the item ships. If this does not meet with your approval, please contact us to cancel. Again, our apologies for the delay and any inconvenience you may have experienced.

Are you Freaking kidding me!!! Does it really take 82 days to ship 2 video games!! Deepdiscount is a joke.

I am a customer of deepdiscount.com. I do not work for them in anyway.

I would like to say that after reading through your report it appears to me that they were out of stock for the items you ordered, which around Christmas time isn't too surprising. Unfortunately for us consumers out of stock merchandise can take a very very long time to get to us. That is what a backorder means, that they don't have it and that it will be sent as soon as it is available. However a good business doesn't charge your card until they ship the item. As your report says they haven't charged you for the games so you could cancel the order before they ship and not be out anything.

The free shipping that deepdiscount offers is the slowest available and has been known to take 3-4 weeks on it's own. When they said they would upgrade your shipping without charging you for it I believe it means that they would upgrade your shipping to a faster method without charging you. Which seems reasonable to me.

I just though you should know.
