People run from this company. They took my money for a loan and never delivered. My upfront fees were supposed to be refundable but off course they never did. Their excuse was that they were waiting for funds from europe which were difficult to bring into the country since 9-11. It has now been for 4years since I lost the condo project I was developing. If you call Joe Dau today, he will tell you the loan is coming any day now. Even after 4 years he still continues the con. He even wrote a letter to my previous lender that he needed just 1 week to fully fund. After an extra week the previous lender was pissed and hammered me, thinking I must be part of the ruse I was originally brought to this company by a Joshua Sewell who is with Washington Financial. When I asked him why our loan was not funded and where was my refundable deposit he told my business partner to go "f" himself. So, I lost the project, and now have a 4,000,000 judgement on me because of these jerks. It is amazing they are still in business I have read other stories on the internet since it happened to me. These guys are con artists and need to be stopped.

I am familier with Deftco so I can tell you they are professional and very up front about what services they offer.
Problems usually appear when the information that is provided by the borrower is incomplete and therefore causes unforseen delays. As usual there are always two sides to every story so I suggest you call Deftco directly before making any judgments based on this one sided report. I abhor bait and switch tactics used by both the borrower and lender and will not work with any company that uses them.
