Degam Medspa - Eve Verdult malpractice is how i descride degam and lots of injuries - i will take them for a law suit Newport Beach California

I purchased 4 treatments form Degam, of which one casued discolartion on my leg and the other casued a severe indentation in my hip, an area that was NOT even suppose to be treated! They had switched me from a treatment for cellulite to a treatment for local fat hip area WITHOUT MY CONSENT. the nurse who performed the process did not read my chart, and inset the injection in my hip when I raised my concern as to what is she doing.

few days later I developed a big swelling in my hip. went back to spa and the financial director Eve took pictures of my back and sent it to the medical director. He made appointment to come and see me at the spa. Guess what. I went there, and the director didnt show up. I requested money back for treatment of $2200. they said I cant and there is no refund policy. even though the orignal procedure of cellulite with mesotherapy ws discontinued there. They forced me to buy hair removal treatment. They originally promised a discount. that didnt happen. the Nurse left a Ice pack so long on my legs while i was on my stomach and I had a major freezer burn and still discolaration.

about a month after, I developed this bif indentation in my hip area , size of an egg. I went to Dr, Ackerman and Dr. nicole from newport beach and they both said it is result wrong injection. The cost of treating this is $4500 at minimum plus three days off from work, three treatment. I asked the Financial director of the degam medspa that I appreaciate cooperation and if not , a 50% reimbursement of correcting their fault. Eve the director said that it is not their fault and denied all. Got even better when they refused to give me a complete medical chart, pictures and hand written notes from nursing staff. They owed me as of then 2000 for other procedures. they sent me a check for 400 and said that is refund. I sent 100 emails to EVe Verdult explaining, this cant be. the refund is even correct and wasted my time, identifying all errors in their print out and requested back up. and ofcourse the never returned my email.

Ladies and Gentlemen, if you like to beautify yourself, spend your time and money with a professional spa ..not a money hunger spa with a rude and unprofessional group of people. This spa is not being properly supervised by a medical director. it is illegal to do all these treatment with lasers and injection and the director not even there.o r refuse a show when 911. Sorry I am very disappointed and regret the fact the in early days befor e I know them I recommended them to friends and they purchased hair laser treatment. below is an email I just found, as i give a quick report to an attorney that is filing a malpractice suit soon:

In February 2008, I consulted Degam medspa for my cellulite problems and had gone to their website and I saw a procedure called mesotherapy. Degam medspa is a brand new spa in Newport and when I started they were going through early stages and not well established. So they convinced me into also purchasing few messages like endermologie that supposed to be helping the meso.

Meso is a series of small injection maybe 50 in each thigh of a cocktail that helps reduce appearance of cellulite.

I went through the spot testing to see my body is not allergic too the cocktail and the lady who did the spot testing apparently was the only one who knows how it works. She told me that do not book it with Francine as she is not professional and just learning from her. So I had to wait a while until they had an opening for me to do the meso.

The day of my procedure, I walked in and they told me that that lady doesn't work there anymore. This other person took me to the room. So I lay down on my back. I didn't see a series of little syringes there. I told her are you sure you are doing the right procedure? She said oh yes. They are both doing the same result. This one was called a lipodisolve. So she takes a big syringe and I lay down on my stomach and she had no clue I was there for cellulite. she though I am there for love handles as she had only perform this process once on herself and I was the first victim. So the first injection goes into my upper hip (love handle that I don't have).

I said to her stop!. I am not here for any fat reduction on my hip. She told me she is not sure if this could be used for cellulite as she is not trained on. I asked her to bring the director of spa. I told the director what is going on and this is not what I purchased. She said oh these are the same things. I said I am here for cellulite and I am afraid. She said don't worry. Lets do a smaller dosage break in half and she told the nurse use the syringe and keep on poking me on my cellulite.

The whole process was so painful and I developed pumps for a month or so and the final result was the indentation around the love handle when she applied the first injection.

I went to Dr. Ackerman and Dr. Nicole who are well known doctors of plastic surgeon and they both claimed this is a mal practice and injection by someone who had no idea what the hell she was doing and now I have this indentation.

The salon is claiming that it was the lipo that was done by in April 2007 by Dr. Ackerman. But I don't believe so even my 13 year old daughter could tell from my appearance that this was result of the injection.

The minimum cost of fixing this is 5k 3 process of removing fat in my belly and applying to the hip area.

Degam medspa is not providing me the before pictures and showing me the after pictures. I also had damage to my leg by them when nurse gave me a freezer burn on my leg for the entire summer. Same nurse.

I have bought various packages early on in the process and I like to discontinue going to them and get reimbursed and chose a more established group to do my things and also like to be reimbursed for the cost of the procedure to bring back the shape of my hip.
