We have a Del Webb Sun City home and we have been writing and calling Customer Service for two years trying to get them to complete repairs.

Some major construction errors have been corrected but many remain. We sent 148 pages of requests for corrections. It is agonizingly slow to get them to repair defects that should have been caught during the inspection processes before we took possession.

These homes are not inexpensive investments. There are many extras they don't tell you about until you get to their Design Center. They give you a list of thousands of dollars in additional costs and then Del Webb takes forty percent of those cost for themselves. So far, we have put $600,000 into this home.

We have been told Del Webb sold to Pulte. We are interested in Pulte's reputation. It doesn't look much better than Del Webb. Thank you for this website. It is sad to read but not surprising after what we have been through with walls, floors and ceilings out of plumb by four to five inches and many other problems. Our furniture slants downhill to the South in the Family Room, forward in the Guest Bedrooms and uphill to the North in the Master Bedroom. Some homeowners here have been
placed in hotels while their ceilings are repaired because of poor truss placement.
