Delta Moving Inc. DMI Movers Severe Damages and Stolen items Simi Valley California

Do not use this company. I moved from California to Virginia with furniture for a one bedroom apartment. I had a king size bed, two night stands, a dresser with a mirror, a television stand, a flat screen television, a coffee table and other personal items. Every single piece of furniture was severely damaged beyond repair. I had pictures that were completely destroyed and valuable jewelry that was stolen. The flat screen television was also stolen.

I was over charged for the move and when the driver arrived, he damanded his money in cash before unloading the truck. I noticed that all the furniture was broken and that items were missing and the driver said he did not know what happened. This was not the same driver or the same vehicle that picked up my belongings. I later found out that DMI Movers hire other low budget truckers to do their long distance moves without the consent of the customer.

I contacted the supervisor for DMI Movers and David, the supervisor was rude and hard to get a hold of. He promised that an insurance company would compensate for my loss but that was a lie. I was never compensated for my losses and the manager refuses to contact me. I never retrieved my stolen items and my furniture had to be thrown away. Do not use this company. They need to be shut down and sued.
