I had the displeasure of finding out entirely too late that Mr. Kurz has no interest in his clients best interest if it conflicts with his own. He will sell you out in a heartbeat if he feels it is in his best interest. I had the unpleasant experience of finding out first hand that he has no understanding of his Oath as an Attorney or of maintaining any client /attorney privilege.

His idea of fiduciary duty to his client is to sabotage their case by leaking false information, interspersed with confidential information to the defense counsel through other attorneys that were friendly with them.

Not over cocktails at the local attorney pub, where it might be labeled as just hearsay and someone blowing off steam. No, not even.

Mr. Kurz was threatened with sanctions as well as having his license suspended by the defense counsel for simply bad lawyering and for not calling the proper parties to a lawsuit. The judge on my case subpeonaed him to court, but instead of showing up for the hearing, somehow, miraculously, a "leaked E-MAIL" from Mr. Kurz somehow managed to end up in the defense counsels hand stating unequivacally that he never wanted my case and that he never felt it had any merit and begged his firm not to take it.

Both myself and the firm dug through four years of e-mails from Mr. Kurz and all we found was E-Mails stating the exact opposite. We requested that he self report himself to the State Bar and he refused to do so and even initially refused to respond at all.

When he finally did, all he could do was point fingers at everyone else except himself stating that his license was on the line and he had to "negotiate" with the defense counsel to keep from being sanctioned or having his license suspended. Which meant he had to throw this client under the bus by making false statements and making d**n sure the defense counsel received the e-mail.

Four years of my case dragging on and on, a partial settlement of almost $17k sitting in the court registry awaiting the final hearing, only to be betrayed by Mr. Kurz and having my case sabotaged and my entire award given over to the defense counsel. After 4 years of waiting for Justice, my own attorney stabs me in the back. Not only did he cost me the settlement awards, but very possibly my appeal.

Stay as far away from this Attorney (for lack of a better word) as you possibly can. He only has his own self interest at heart.
