On July 15th I recieved a telephone call from a Dan Collingswood (?) who said he was with the Dept. of Financial Investigation on my work phone. About an hour later (11:00AM) I recieved the same message on my cell phone. This man had a very heavy forgeign accent.
However I did return his call and I was told that I owed money for a November 2011 loan and I had to pay it immediately using a vanilla reload card. They were going to red flag my social security number. I was threatened with wage garnishments, havind my employer fire me and/or imprisonment.
Immediately I told him I never had a loan and I never recieved alleged e mails that have been sent for 6 months. I wanted to see copies of the e mails. I was told they were already sent to me.
I am still getting phone call every Friday. I can not find anything relating to this on line except scams.
If I did this I would pay it off but I didnot do it.
