Department of Law and Investigation Recieved a call stating that I was in Legal trouble and they would make me loose my job!!! Bronx, New York

While driving home from work i recieved a call at 2:16pm on February 23rd, 2011 from the Department of Law and Investigation. The gentleman told me that he was with the above company and that i needed to grab a pen and paper to write some stuff down, in reply i stated that i was driving and could not do that. He then asked for me to call him when i was no longer driving.

About 30 seconds later he calls back asking how long it would be before i was able to call back, i told him i did not know. He says again 10, 20, 30 minutes i the replied once again that i did not know. In reply he says that if i do not call back in 20 minutes that he would be sending an afidavid to my employer and stated my employers name and asked me to confirm the information, in regards i told him that i wasnt going to give him that information and i didnt even know who he was. The gentleman than said again that i had to call back in 20 minutes i said ok.

I returned home about 7 minutes later and returned the phone call the same gentleman answered the phone. He asked my name and I said Bobbie i did not give him my last name. In reply he said my first and last name and I said yes this is her. He then stated again that he was with the Department of Law and Investigation, his name was Walter and he was with Walker. Told me that the conversation was being recorded. He then said I was in legal trouble from getting a loan on the internet that i did not pay back.

I have never gotten a loan off of the internet i let him continue talking. He said that i was in trouble 3 counts one including check fraud and gave me my case number CFI150781.  He then asked if i was going to settle out of court or get an attorney i said im not settling something that i did not do. He then said the are you getting a lawyer then i said no but i will go to court in yakima. He then stated that he would get me fired from my job. i then said that my boss would not fire me for this and he then stated are you sleeping with your boss, and i hung up.

My husband called back the number about 2 minutes later and said you just called my wife and the gentleman said no i d didnt call your wife and used vergal language to my husband..
