What do these parent companies have in common?  EVERYTHING.  Just like their subsidiaries change and use different names, so do their parent companies.  They all have the same system, run the same scam and are owned by the same people.  They all have a 'management training program', they incorporate their subsidiaries in order to avoid lawsuits, they post misleading advertisements on career websites and they all lie and cheat like it's going out of style.  On any given day they would account for about half (if not more) of all entry level job postings in the U.S..  Having all these different names is the only way to keep their scam alive because it makes it harder for people to find out who they are working for.

Just think about it.  Why do they need so many names?  If they were doing good deeds they wouldn't need to hide within their nested spheres of deception and duplicity.  If they were doing the right thing, they would have their entire organization under one banner while proudly advertising themselves to the world.  Instead, they change names like people change underwear and continue their scam with different identities so that new employees don't know who they're working for.

TOP TEN SIGNS YOU ARE WORKING FOR DEVILCORP

#10  You've been employed by your company for four months and it has changed it's name more than once.

#9  You tell relatives and acquaintances that you are working on an 'advertising campaign' but you're really selling products door-to-door, inside of major retailors or hustling junk in a box on street corners.

#8  You have to go into the office every morning and participate in cult-like rituals meant to brainwash you on their business.  You work 12 hours a day 6 days a week and spend all your free time with co-workers.

#7  Your 'management training' involves you buying lunch for new recruits.  You realize that you are not a manager nor are you participating in any management training.  You believe that you're only 'in the field' in order to get your own office.

#6  You look down on '9-5 schmucks' who have secretaries that make more than you and your entire team combined.

#5  You espouse the principles and theories of the most successful people on earth who would absolutely be repulsed by the business you are in.

#4  You work 70+ hours a week but quietly borrow money from your sixteen year old neighbor who works at McDonald's.

#3  You eat fast food more than ten times a week or can't afford to eat out at all.

#2  You live in a two bedroom apartment with 6 co-workers and one of them is your boss.

#1  You work for an organization that has in just three decades screwed over millions of Americans while only the select few at the top of the pyramid have actually made any real money.

If you can say yes of any of these signs you should probably run.

Ringing the bell

Here's more news reports about Devilcorp misleading their customers. In this link, you will read that Cydcor were found to be complete and utter liars while selling for CenturyLink. http://www.billingworld.com/news/2012/07/centurylink-to-stop-outside-reps-marketing-in-cli.aspx In this report from The Villager, Smart Circle was caught selling fake salon coupons. When questioned about the incident, Smart Circle's media relations company just blamed the manager. It's not like we've ever heard that one before. http://www.yourhoustonnews.com/woodlands/news/salon-victim-of-fake-promotion/article_dcc14646-c067-59d5-84ce-b8b15b4f78ab.html?mode=jqm

Setting the pace

Another Product recall?  Here's a link to the Consumer Product Safety Commission where you will find that their toy trucks were "presenting a potential chocking hazard".  At least they weren't full of lead and dehp. What's interesting about this link is that they mention DS-Max's old name WWI.  How many names do these people need?

http://www.cpsc.gov/en/Recalls/1995/CPSC-And-Wholesale-Warehousing-Recall-Toy-Truck/

Of course we all know that Innovage is Just DS-Max renamed but here's confirmation from Bloomberg.

How about another trademark infringement case? Try Eveready Battery Company vs. DS-Max in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.  That's where they paid $420,000 in damages according to PR Newswire at

Theft and racism

Josephine Nyamhovsa, an ex-Cobra employee was awarded 50,000 euros when she decided to fight back and take her case to the Equity Tribunal in Ireland. The tribunal found that a Cobra subsidiary was guilty of harassment and racial discrimination according to the Irish Examiner at http://www.irishexaminer.com/ireland/50000-for-unfairly-dismissed-woman-52617.html Here's another settled patent infringement case against Innovage this time in the Illinois Northern District Court. Senario v. Innovage case#1:06-cv-05419 or you can go to this link http://www.legalmetric.com/cases/patent/ilnd/ilnd_106cv05419.html I guess we know how to get our stolen money from Devilcorp. Just take them to court, have a winning case and they will pay back every red cent.

Got cases?

Another prop. 65 case against Innovage this time in the Superior Court Of The State of California for the County of Alameda.  Innovage was sued because of the "defendant's continuing failure to warn citizens about their exposure to dehp".  Moore v. Innovage case #RG11594937.

What's interesting about this case is the length of time it took to settle.  The case was filed on 9/9/2011 and settled on 9/13/2011.  Four days?  You can forget Judge Jones because this Moore fellow was obviously doing some serious hot stepping all over Devilcop.

Here's a link that will allow you to view the complaint and settlement.

http://www.prop65daily.com/Litigation/Forms/AllItems.aspx?RootFolder=%2fLitigation%2fMoore%20v%20Innovage%20LLC%20%20RG11594937&FolderCTID=0x01200021CF8D1C477CDE4692D6130619F6604A

The Garden State might not have the best reputation but it will always hold a special place in my heart because of Devilcorp's copyright infringement case.  That's case # 2:2008cv05755  in the New Jersey District Court, Great American Sales Inc. vs.  Applause Source LLC et al, et al,.  If you look at the list of defendants you will see that they named Innovage, DS-Max and the H.M.F.I.C. Mr. T..  Did they settle?  Of course they did.

More Devilcorp cases

AUTHOR: anonymous - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, November 05, 2014
Devilcorp really doesn't like to lose so when the Georgia Northern District Court and The Right Honorable Judge Jones were about to dance all over their unscrupulous business practices, Cydcor opted for a six-figure settlement in their Fair Labor Standards Act case.

Alexander, et al vs. Cydcor   case #1:11-cv-01578-SCJ

DS-Max opted to settle when they were sued by the Do-lin Metal company in the California Northern District Court for patent infringement.

shui-shang et al vs. DS-Max International  docket # 3:02cv04985

The new look DS-Max (Innovage) was also sued for patent infringement this time in the United States District Court Central District of California Southern Division.

case # SACV07-1334 Doc(ANx)

Apparently, they were ordered to destroy tens of thousands of toy helecoptors.  Here's some links.

Connecting the dots

AUTHOR: anonymous - ()

Just in case they want to lie by claiming that Smart Circle was not Granton Marketing, here's a link

http://www.adweek.com/news/advertising/smart-circle-nee-granton-eyes-expansion-82493

If you need to connect Granton to DS-Max, just scroll through the rebuttals till you get to Pennsylvania Department of State link.

Of course if you need to prove a connection between Innovage and DS-Max, look no further than the San Francisco Superior Court at http://www.sfsuperiorcourt.org/online-services case #441499.  It's a case where Innovage and it's parent company DS-Max were sued because their mugs and ceramic containers were full of lead.

While on the site, be sure to look up case #449268 where you will find that Innovage was sued  for "knowingly and intentionally exposing persons to lead".  Sound familiar?  Now that's the Devilcorp we've come to know and love.

Remember our Devilcorp subsidiary in Australia called Legacy marketing?  You know, the guys that used 'poysn' to profile their customers?  Turns out they set up shop in new Zealand and started collecting for charities without being registered according to the New Zealand at .nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10788079 .  Collecting for charities without being registered.......isn't that what they were doing in Pennsylvania?

Here's another article from the Daily Telegraph exposing more of the tactics used by Appco to 'sell' donors. dailytelegraph.com.au/special-investigation-charities-use-the-hard-sell/story-e6freuy9-1226274694765?nk=5fe47401395d0c34cb35ee578257549a

Names and underwear

AUTHOR: anonymous - ()

POSTED: Saturday, October 25, 2014
Yet another Devilcorp parent company operating in the U.K. and linked to Cobra/Appco called PerDM.  In this article from the Essex Chronicle, the undercover reporter witnessed their rep lie to a customer, noticed that their street level office had changed it's name and that there were multiple companies working out of the same building all in the name of charity.  Sound familiar?

In this article from The Guardian about PerDM, applicants were promised a swift route to management but were then shackled with slave hours and slave wages.

Regardless of where they go, what they sell or what they're calling themselves.......the 'system' remains the same.  There is a report on this site that details PerDM's system and lingo which just happens to be identical to that of Smart Circle's, Cydcor's etc. etc..  These Devilcorp guys are unbelievable.

The Glasgow Guardian published and article about a Cobra subsidiary retelling the same story we've grown accustom to.

All these reports from the media, government agencies and the tens of thousands of complaints from ex-employees almost matching the number of names that Devilcorp has used.  What gives?

Would you believe that the Pennsylvania Department of State ordered DS-Max and their affiliates including Cydcor, Granton and numerous others (again with the names) to stop collecting funds because they refused to register as professional fundraisers?  Here's a link.

google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=8&sqi=2&ved=0CEkQFjAH&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.votespa.com%2Fportal%2Fserver.pt%2Fdocument%2F1222597%2Fdsmax1_pdf&ei=TPtIVL_lCdLIgwSu_4HwCw&usg=AFQjCNF7s1J0UCVHGLNdD8hlJyt2uVcrFw&sig2=IjUev52JLvZKHEhn88g1Gw

Or you can go directly to the Pennsylvania Department of State's website and select the DS-Max ruling on 11/04/03 at

The Portland Mercury published an article about Devilcorp's recruiting process outlining some of the psychological tricks used by these companies to get people to commit to the business.

portlandmercury.com/portland/sell-the-dream/Content?oid=479587

Here's a similar article from the U.K. which includes a link to the Advertising Standards Authority who found that a Devilcorp subsidiary was blatantly posting misleading job advertisements.  They were ordered to be honest about the nature of the position.zainabusman.wordpress.com/2011/10/26/how-i-fell-victim-to-a-recruitment-scam-in-the-uk/

Time and time again, anything they touch turns to dust.  Take Innovage for example.  Apparently, Innovage was DS-Max's clearance division but is now it's own entity after they decided to rename the beast.  Anyone researching Devilcorp needs to spend some time looking into DS-Max.  The horror stories will make your jaw drop and your mind boggle.  It's the root of all evil when it comes to 'the business'.  Maybe not the root because they might have been known as WWI before that but who can keep up with these guys and their names.  Either way, DS-Max is worth some research.  I digress, this post is about Innovage.  Innovage pays Chinese manufacturers to produce cheap, sub-standard and sometimes dangerous products which are then sold to the American public.

Like when they recalled their Discovery lamps because they were catching fire and damaging property according to The Seattle Times at seattletimes.com/html/nationworld/2018589106_apusrecalls.html

Ever go down to your basement, light 999,000 candles and think to yourself..........not enough?  If so, the FIXIT One Million Candlepower rechargeable spotlight might be for you.  Too bad they leak battery acid and have burned skin, clothing and upholstery according to The Seattle Times at seattletimes.com/html/businesstechnology/2012843766_apusrecalls.html

Or when they recalled their toy helicopters because they could catch fire according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission at cpsc.gov/vi-VN/Recalls/2008/Remote-Controlled-Helicopter-Toys-Recalled-by-Innovage-Due-to-Fire-and-Burn-Hazards/   Who knew that helicopters could be so dangerous without machine guns and Wagner?

That's well over 2 million hazardous and potentially lethal products sold to the general public.  At least they recalled them.  It could have been much worse.  And with that in mind, I would like to end this report on a positive note and thank Devilcorp for their only act of decency that I'm aware of.  Thank you for recalling your crummy products that could have killed people.  I would also like to thank you for proving once and for all that even the sun shines on a dog's a** some days.

Here's a news19 report about Cydcor misleading it's customers when it was contracted to ENCOA.  Be sure to read ENCOA's press release after the article where it mentions Cydcor as the offending party.

They must love these guys in the Anglo world because the New Zealand government's Commerce Commision issued a press release about Appco where they were found to be misleading while selling energy door to door.

Starting to see a pattern?

Here's a funny one from the Bristolianhttp://thebristolian.net/files/2013/11/bristolian_4-8.pdf

Be sure to scroll down to page two and look for the article titled "crap employer of the month".

Anywhere they go, anything they do, they get complaint after complaint.  When the complaints are stacked a mile high, they just change names and start again.

They love a good charity scam

AUTHOR: anonymous - ()

POSTED: Saturday, October 18, 2014
The Appco Group a.k.a. The Cobra Group is about to be investigated by the New South Wales Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing.  The governing body for charities in N.S.W. is concerned that Appco would pocket most of the money raised for the Special Olympics according to an article published by The Guardian available at theguardian.com/society/2014/jun/19/global-fundraising-company-keeps-96-of-122m-raised-for-special-olympics . Not content with just screwing Aussies, Appco has ruffled some feathers across the Tasman by running the same scam and being reported on by The New Zealand Herald at nzherald.co.nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10789631 .

These articles are commonplace for Cobra.  The BBC has weighed in with one available at bbc.co.uk/insideout/south/series4/rogue_salesman.shtml  and The Mirror has posted a fantastic blog showing how Cobra pays it's employees peanuts while keeping all the money for it's self at blogs.mirror.co.uk/investigations/2010/08/cobra-group-makes-a-mint-while.html .  In it you will read that the 'founder' is honest about the "The illegitimacy of this business I started 20 years ago".

Besides the Great Wall of China, astronauts claim that they can see Devilcorp's trail of destruction with the naked eye.

POSTED: Thursday, October 09, 2014

I came across this report yesterday and had to write a rebuttal.  My cousin worked for these guys and the stories he told would make your blood boil.  People should go to www.youtube.com/watch?v=6by6t2xZx3m.  It's a Fox6 news report posted on youtube by the complaintsboard entitled Undercover Charities Scam.  In it you can clearly hear their sales rep lie to the undercover reporter.  They should be investigated.
