Devry University Alpharetta Campus TOOK LOAN MONEY AFTER I WITHDRAWL FROM SCHOOL Alpharetta Georgia

I had move to Georgia in 2003 in hopes of bettering my life for me and my kids. I moved to the city of Alpharetta because it seem like a nice quiet suburban area. I had check around for some different schools to get a career going. So i contacted Devry Uiversity being it was close to my home.

So i went in and spoke to an advisor that seem really eagered for me to start classes. So i took the compass test to. My advisor contacted me and told me everything was fine come start the enrollment process and that i needed a 100.00 for some fee. I explain that i just moved and was a single mother of 3 kids money was tight. Well he wanted me to attend so bad he gave me the 100.00 and said pay him when i could.

Well i enrolled in i believe a couple classes to start my first semester off. oh wow the teacher wasn't there half the time, to old to be teaching i don't know but it sucked. on to the big problem .. Well my car broke down, So i called the school and advised them that i would have to withdrawl due to no transportation. They advised me to email the Dean or whoever and everything would be taken care of. Being that i didn't have a ride back up to school this was my only route.

I called the loan company Mohela and advised them of my withdrawl and not to send Devry any money. well here goes the DRAMA!!!!! They had already mail out the first payment and told me to contact Devry to have them refund the money back to them. Well noone at Devry could be reached , noone at Devry called me back.So the loan company tried to call they got no results either. so finally months later i got a way to the school and they told me that they didn't owe the money back even though i only when to class 2 or 3 days i was past the withdrawl deadline. so yeah right i thought how bogus i did as your rep at the school advised me.

now Mohela is coming after me for 4,000+ that for 1 i don't got! 2 i feel i should not have to pay cause the money didn't come to me 3 i didnt even attend school a semester!! now im stuck with this debt on my credit report that i have to keep deferring every year. I FEEL THEY SHOULD'VE WENT AFTER DEVRY UNIVERSITY THEY GOT THE DANG ON MONEY!!!!! I want to go back to college but i am so scared to be ripped off again...
