Devry University Chesapeake And Online A Fianancial Nightmare Chesapeake Virginia

For the last eight years of my college career I have never encounter a financial nightmare as I did with Devry University. I am a senior attending Devry University and unable to graduate due to Devry have not resolve my financial aid for the summer of 2008. This issue started at the beginning of the summer semester and till this day it is still continuing.
There was a mistake on my FASA which i had to correct it by starting a fresh new FASA form. I did my part by notifying the student advisor that i started with a new form and she would have to pull the correct data.
Pulling the data from FASA is when problem started, this is where they refused to call FASA help desk to get help and use the correct information. I shown them proof of screen shots where FASA process my new form and the signature was signed.
In October, The student advisor made copies of the screen shot and told me that she was going to escalate the issue. It was an on going battle as I had checked numerous of times by phone calls and sending email to the student financial aid advisor and Dean to get the issue resolved. It took Devry Chesapeake and online campus from August until November to pull the correct documentation.
The nightmare started when they calculated the award. After Devry calculate my award in December, the Director of Finance decided that they could not award my financial aid to cover for the 2008 summer semester because it was a past semester. Over the past several weeks, I had to constantly call the Student Advisor, Dean and the online campus to check the status. Even on my days off from work I waited hours in their office for as long as one to five hours and nothing was done.
As of today February of 2009, I am still fighting and spending my days of hearing relentless and unrevealing answers form the Dean and student advisor stating they there are going to resolve the issue. I am in the middle of my career and I hoping I can get my degree and get out this mess. This issue took at toll out of my life from completing my degree. If I can say something pleasant about Devry, I cannot lie about my experience. The only thing I can say this school is a complete rip-off and they have inexperienced staff.
