I have done business with them a total of 3 times and each time was horrible. I even talked to the owner and he acted like he owned the town and he was very inconsiderate. I have taken a deer there and also a turkey, the deer was already boned I went in there with 90 lbs and came out with only 58lbs? Where did the 30lbs go? I think he skims some meat for himself. The turkey he didnt clean all the way he said was ready to go in oven and there were still feathers on outside. I was told jus to pick them off. the 3rd time I was at the fair and when I was served my food there was part of a bug in it I complained I didnt even pick it up, then in the trailer where they were working I saw 2 cockroaches run across the food prep table.

I understand there isnt to many other places to go to here in this small town to process meat. But I can say people use to talk highly about this place and how small home town the owner was. But I think he got the $$ in his eyes and just doesnt care about making customer happy just about the money.

I am just the manager so I am sure that if you would personally call the owner and make your complaints as well as give him you name and date that you came in he can look up your receipt and I am sure he will refund your money he try's extremely hard to make sure all of his customers are happy... As for me personally I have never told anyone to pick feathers off of something nor would I...But if you would like while you are on the phone with him you can file your complaint on me as well since he doesn't use the internet and will most likely never see this report...

If you are the manager then you were the one that I was dealing with about the meat and the turkey? May I ask you why you told me to pick the feathers off myself and that you guys are very busy? is it not about customer service? Maybe you have 700+ customers that come to you on a regular basis but its sad when you dont care about the one that had a bad experience? Why not say come in and we will get you taken care of? Why not say we are sorry and we will be willing to make up or show you our customer service is excellent? See this company doesnt care read the reply I have received it says I doubt you did, and we have a good track recorded.... does that mean you could have had a mistake? I am not pleased or satisfied you can write a rebuttal in a day but cant offer to right any wrong that might have been done.

This is a growing issue with all companies now, we lose one customer who cares we have 700+
See what I was saying the owner got so big that he forgot about the individuals who got him there, the customers.

I am not please with this managers reply, I will definitely never come back. I am sorry this company to prideful to ask me to come in and talk with the owner manager and listen to the story. But this is why I say 3 strikes youre out. I have had 3 bad instances with this and look what I get in a reply.

I am the manager at Dewayne's BBQ and have been for 5 years... We have regular health department inspections at both the plant and the wagon we run at the fair you are more then welcome to contact them and ask if we have ever had roaches or any of the above mentioned bugs in our plant or wagon... We strive to make all of our customers happy and we would never serve food with bugs in it every time we have ever had a complaint which happens rarely we do everything in our power to fix the problem... The only time a customer gets less deer meat back is if they have had it cooked you do lose some of your weight at that point though I find it hard to believe that you would lose 30 lbs...  Dewayne's has been in business for 20 + years and this is his first complaint... With 700 + returning customers I would say that is a pretty good track record...
