Diamond R Custom Homes Not worth your time or money. This company doesn't fulfill any of their obligations and is run by idiots Keller, Southlake, DFW Texas

I normally am not one to write reviews, however I feel compelled to do so regarding Diamond R Custom Homes.  They are horrible and you will not be happy with your finished product. It's really sad.  They brag about building large, custom homes, however I have yet to talk to a recent homeowner that is happy with their overall product.  

My partner and I built with this company expecting everything they rave about on their website and when you speak with them.  In reality, the contractors they use are inexperienced and sloppy, People fail to show up, the project manager is an idiot, people are constantly being hired and fired, Phone calls go unanswered, things you want fixed are left unfixed, they have very poor customer service, and They make the entire home building experience horrible.  I have build homes the past and have never been treated so rudely and have had such a crapy house built.  

If you do decide to build with them, here are my suggestions.  1. Record every conversation either through email or on your phone. Our attorney told us to do this 1/2 way through our build after we realized how awful this company is.  2. Do not trust the project manager.  He is rude and will tell you something, yet will never follow through. 3.  Don't expect your home to have a "brand new feel" when you move in. So many things will be wrong and it will feel like a 20 year old home.  4. ask for a RECENT list of addresses of the homes they've built and talk to these people.  The reference list they provide has a few happy customers that built years ago, not recently. We did this after the fact and showed up at people's doors and talked to them. Not one person was happy. Some were having things done, after they moved in, three and even four times over in attempts to get it right. One family even joked about filing suit due to their finished product not being what was promised. 5.  Do not move in until everything on your punch out list is complete.. They will not honor it and will not fulfill it.

i would stay away from this company. If you have the means to build with Diamond R, there are many more reputable builders out there that will respect your wants and treat you well.  Not a good Builder!!!!
