Diamond Resort International Fraud. sell membership, but cannot even deliver on the membership card, or access to online bookking of any resorts. Also refused to resolve issue, instead opt to legal action. Las Vegas, , Nevada

Timeshare sold sampler for $2595, took our money, said will deliver the membership card within 14 days and give online easy access to booking.  This is a lie.  Don't believe them.  They are so messed up one dept don't even know what the other dept said, delivery of a membership card in 14 days?, no the other dept says 6 to 8 weeks.  Easy access to online booking... but they cannot even input our name and e mail within 30 days.  Instead of resolving the issue quickly and give us access, they called rudely stating all of our conversation on the phone is recorded, threatening that if we don't just be patient and wait for a membership card, then they cannot help us.  If this company cannot even be civilized and mail out a membership card in accordance to their promise when they took the $2,595 how do they function as a resort?  How do they even do booking right if their "system" is and cannot be updated within 6 to 8 weeks?  The sales team has no stake in resolving the issue, they want to keep their commission; they rather the other dept in Florida take the heat of a legal case against Stephen J Cloobeck, the CEO who falsely advertised that HIS resort program is "vacation made easy" and that YES is their operative word... FALSE.  His people have been saying vacation not made easy is not their problem, it is the SYSTEM problem.  They have been saying NO... NO refunds, NO resolution, NO way they could get the product to me since the "other" dept already said they escalated to Headquarter in Florida and that was a COURTESY to the customer, as if they did not even have to do that for the customer... the only thing the customer asked for was GIVE ME THE MEMBERSHIP CARD AND ACCESS CODE TO BOOKING MY RESORTS WITHIN THE 30 DAYS, SINCE YOU PROMISED THAT WE WOULD HAVE IT IN 14.  Nothing came to us for the $2595 we paid.
