Diamondmall seller on ebay I bought a convertible top with a 6 year warranty, seams split/leaking water 4 months later. No response from seller on ebay. Chatsworth California

After I purchased this convertible top on ebay from diamondmall, 4 months later the seams are splitting and it is leaking water.  I had this professionally installed by a shop with over 50 years experience, that has done many Mazda Miata tops. They informed me this was one of the tightest fitting tops they had installed, which really should have been my first clue to a potential problem.  ( The top is too small and this caused too tight of a fit.)

After many calls with ebay, and many emails sent to the seller, by ebay,paypal, and myself, nary a word from the seller.  Ebay finally informed me they could do nothing further, and it was up to me to try to contact the seller concerning the warranty.  Good luck on that!  Their phone number listed is supposedly not the seller, someone on the other end told me after I called.  I am quite sure they are still selling these garbage tops on ebay and getting away with ripping people off.  I am extremely shocked that a company as big as ebay won't refund my money and go after the seller.
