This is an update on a ripoff report I filed on 5/22/02. These degenerates, now calling themselves "Digi Cam," after going under "Digitally Discovered," "Discovery Camera," "Ideal Photo and Video," and who knows how many other aliases, are now making threats.

They sent me defective equipment when I ordered new equipment. I sent it back and representative Brian Peterson just plain lied and said he'd sent a replacement that was refused and shipped back to him. I told him this did not happen, and also told him that I didn't want to do business with him or his company anymore. He repeatedly tried to convince me to accept a replacement, which I refused to do. I made it plain I wouldn't accept anything from him or his company.

On May 21 a box came, supposedly with a replacement printer, which was refused at my door. The company charged me for the replacement anyway, and somehow managed to get Discover Card to agree to bill me for this item which I never took possession of. The company produced a copy of a Fed Ex bill with the line where the recipient signs that reads "SIGNATURE ON FILE." I have no idea what that means or how it proves anything, except that I was 40 miles away when it was brought to my door and it was refused by my mother who told the delivery driver to send it back. Now it's not bad enough that I got billed for the replacement I never took possession of, but they now want me to pay for the original order which I have proof was returned to them by Fed Ex with their own return authorization! I filed a complaint with the New Jersey Attorney General's Office but still await a resolution. Don't do business with these criminals, you will regret it for a long, long time.
