My boyfriend was approached at a Circle K by two guys selling Home Theatre systems at a discount. He told him he wasn't interested until they showed him a very convincing and professional looking advertisment in a magazine with other well known brands. They said that the speakers were listed at $2000.00 but due to a mistake in their last order, they had four extra. They sold them to him for $500. A real bargain, we thought, until he came home and we tried them out.

The name of the brand is Digital Research and, from what I can tell, this is a scam that is going on nationwide.
