At the end of January 2003, I sent DigitalThreadz a check in the amount of $68.00 for an outfit advertised on their website. Along with the check, I explained my reasons for prefering to order via snail mail rather than online. When my order failed to arrived by Feb, I sent an email on Feb 11 asking about it. On Feb 26 someone by the name of Mandi replied to my email asking, "You sent a check? When was it sent? Has it cleared? I only ask because I do not remember seeing any checks lately. I will be happy to look again though. You may want to call your bank to make sure it has not yet been cashed. I will get back with you asap with any availible information."

I wrote back with information about the check and the lousy b***h NEVER contacted me but cashed my $68.00 check in April. I've sent numerous emails to DigitalThreadz and they NEVER bother to respond. DigitalThreadz had a fax number on their website when I first placed my order but have removed it since then and haven't bothered to replace it. I've phoned information for their phone number and they're not even listed. DigitalThreadz shouldn't even be in business when all they do is take the money and run!

Let us make this right

After doing a search online to see how many links we had I found a link to this complaint. I was quite surprised to say the least. I received an email from this customer quite some time ago inquiring about an order that had been placed. At the time the email was sent I had no idea who this person was. She chose to place an order via mail rather than online. When an order is placed via snail mail there is no online record of the transaction. The only record is the piece of paper that is mailed. As you will notice in her complaint the check was not even cashed until April. When we receive a check we send it to our back immediately. Once the check clears we then ship the merchandise. The whole process takes about 2 weeks from the receipt of the order to the delivery of the package.

When the email came in I asked the customer to call her bank to find out if the check had cleared at that time. We never heard back from her. I will say this though, at the time we were having a few email issues so the email may not have gone through.

I also read something about the BBB. I am not sure what address they sent any information to. We never received any letters from them. Our mail system obviously works because the customer was able to mail us her order. I will have to check out what address they have on file.
That said, if your order has not been received Ms. Ravin I would be happy to reship the order for you. I would also like to offer you a $25 merchandise certificate and free shipping. I do apologize for any inconvenience and frustration this may have caused you. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to make this right for you.

DigitalThreadz COWARDS ON THE RUN

When DigitalThreadz refused to respond to numerous emails, I filed complaints against them with the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Complaints and filed a police report against them. BBB has informed me that the letters they sent to DigitalTHreadz have been returned and they appear to have gone out of business. Yet, their website continues to run. http://digitalthreadz.safeshopper.com/

Hopefully their site will be seen by millions here and I won't stop until they refund my money!!!
