Colorado Prime has been on the receiving end of a large number of unfavorable reports. Now they seem to have achieved anothe incarnation as DineWise and are doing their marketing on the internet as DineWise.
I came across them while looking for a delivery service and requested their catalog. Must have been having a senior moment for I yielded to their website's demands and provided my phone number.
Received the catalog and a several e-newsletters but was not particularly impressed until I started receiving phone calls on my cell phone that were obviously marketing calls. That number is on the national do not call list so I did some research and lo and behold it turned out to be good old Colorado Prime.
There may be an out in the law that says they can call you if you 'do business with the company' but reading their advertising does not constitute 'doing business' with them...not in my book.
It just seems to be a strong indicator that they may have started the business over but don't seem to be much inclined to change their ways.

First off, I was a telemarketer at Colorado Prime of Fishkill, NY for two years(1995-1997).
The last I heard about the company was around 1999 when the Fishkill office which was ran by Christie originally from the Long Island spawn(great boss by the way), was closing its doors because Colorado Prime was bankrupt.
As a telemarketer we were instructed never to end a call unless the potential customer hung up, asked to be removed from our calling list or we actually would set an appointment. If you couldn't set enough appointments for the sales people to run, after two weeks you were fired, so yes, I was good at being a drone and following the laws set by Colorado Prime.
Stay clear of this company!! They will tripple bill your credit card on food orders and when they do issue a refund it comes 2 billing cycles later.
Check with your attorney general's office and I'm sure they'll have a couple of hundred complaints against them. I know the Fishkill office had a few lawsuits pending against them in the mid-late 90s also.
