DIRECTBUY ANOTHER ALMOST RIP OFF BY DIRECT BUY INTERNET Virginia

Wow, Directbuy almost got me too. I am about to remodel a very large home. I thought it would be a good thing. After signing the agreement came home and discovered I could get the stuffAS cheap on line if I loooked hard enough. I wouldnt have looked as hard except when I went on line I was gong to use thier web to look around.

When I put in the google search all I got was complaints on the company and realised though I paid my money I didnt get any log in info while there. When I read all the complaints I looked into the floring I was after and found it cheaper :O !

i WILL BE STOPPING PAYMENT ON MY CHECK ON MONDAY, also certified mail on my cancellation. Embaressing, I am a business woman and halfway intelligent. By the way, if you do go to the presentation, notice, flooring samples and cabinets are there EVERYTHING else you have to actually hunt through hundreds of hard to read booklets to find. You would spend a lot less time looking on line than sitting in there reading all those books, which do not even appear to be indexed.

So, basically what you are paying for is the chance to read the catalogues, which is info you can find on line.

After remodeling half of my home, I'm very pleased with my Direct Buy membership. Their prices were lower than retailers, and I was able to get my things when needed instead of relying on a bunch of different companies online. I will definitely be renewing my membership.

Direct Buy is indeed an enormous scam. They make their money by selling expensive worthless memberships and are very good at keeping the money once it is in their greedy hands. You do indeed have the right to cancel a contract within a 3 day period of time. This will not matter to DB, as soon as they see you have canceled the check they will bare their teeth and go after you. They will threaten to ruin your credit or send the collectors after you. This is a heads up to be prepared for this. They will not refund 5k quietly. Stand your ground these people suck.
