I was solicited by First National Warranty in October 2007. They sold me a bogus extended warranty on my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500. For the past 12 months, I paid $94.21 per month adding up to a total of $1130.52. First National Warranty's partner in crime is Direct Choice Automotive aka Consumer Direct Warranty located in Redding, CA. They operate under multiple names out of a boiler room set up in Redding. There isn't a sign on the building. Inside, desks, computers and phones with people denying claims and selling bogus warranties. They literally deny all claims that come in. First National Warranty in Ft.Lauderdale, FL has a disconnected phone number, defunct website and effectively out of business. Mepco is part of the whole sham collecting monthly payments out of my bank account. I am now disputing the payments with my bank.

My Dodge truck's transmission is broken. Repairs for the transmission are $3900.00. Direct Warranty aka Direct Choice denied the claim. I am now out the $1130.52 that the bogus warranty companies stole from me plus the $3900.00 in repairs. They also denied a previous claim in regard to my trans axle. I started investigating them on the Internet and people from all over the country have the same story as I do. KOMO News in Seattle did a news story on Direct Choice along with their other bogus business names in 2006. The article can be found at
http://www.komonews.com/news/4561477.html This article accurately states how they operate. From their bogus fluid sent in the mail to denying all claims and bilking unknowing people out of thousands of dollars. The fluid is a scam in order to deny future claims.

If you are in the same situation as myself and thousands of others, you must file a complaint with the consumer division at the Attorney General's Office in the state that you live in. Also, call the Chamber of Commerce in Redding, they will connect you to the Business registration Office in Redding, who will confirm that Direct Warranty has too many complaints to count as well as confirming that they operate under multiple business names and under the guise of warranty companies, when in fact, they are no such thing.

They are getting away with it due to crossing state lines and using multiple company names making it difficult for people to track.

I want to be part of a class action law suit. For anyone who knows anything about a class action lawsuit, please, please contact me.

The Direct Choice Warranty address used in Redding is a post office box, but the actual street address is: 2664 Hartnell Ave., Redding, CA 96002
If you show up, they'll slam the door in your face!

These people are devils in disguise..beware!
