Direct Subscription Services, Inc. DSS Inc. Order unfullfilled after 8 months Pilot Point, Texas
Naturally sympathetic to a college-aged kid's story about needing financial assistance for their education goals, I seleced the magazine from her list and wrote a $51.00 check for a one year subscription to Wine Enthusiast. She wrote out the receipt and pointed to the website where I could track the order. As of January, 2012, I have yet to receive any issues of the magazine I ordered.
I waited well beyond the 90-120 days that it states it will take for the order to be processed. On 12/27/11 I finally sent an email to the address given on the website. I've waited another 2+ weeks to hear back from them without any response, and I still have not received the magazine.
Do not be taken in by these magazine selling scams, especially door-to-door.
