Directbuy, UCC Total Home ripsoff consumers by false advertising, deceptive business practices and violating Unlawful Trades Practices Act. Ripoff Beaverton Oregon

As others have reported I too, have been ripped off by Directbuy of Beaverton OR. They talk a good sales pitch with promises of great savings and selection. They will tell you anything to get you to sign on the dotted line. This is when they turn into coldhearted slimballs.

I was never able to look at the catalogues either. I had to rely on the outright lies that the sales person told me. They don't tell you that what you want isn't available. Or, that they don't ship it directly to your home without added costs. The items are usually cheaper at retail, with free delivery mostly and you don't have to wait for weeks and weeks to get it.

I never did utilize my membership. After I realized that they were just selling the memberships I attempted to get a refund.

This is when they really turn into gradeschool bullies. They try to intimidate you with strong arm tactics.

My question is why would a supposed business want to force a business relationship with a consumer that doesn't want anything to do with them? Why should a person be forced to pay on a contract that has no benefit and has been found to be unlawful?

Didn't forced servicetude go out with the Civil War? Why would they want the bad publicity?

So here is my report. I already filed with the Attorney General. We need ALL of you to file with them also. The only reason that they didn't act was I was the only one that did. And YES, I want to file a lawsuit against this sleazeball too.

Kelly of Lake Oswego are you with me? Any one else? Let's get this guy and our money back with damages of course.
