I have received your letter. To follow up from our telephone conversation, we shall NOT make any further payments to your company. Furthermore, we request that you refund all amounts we have paid you to date.

The travel agency, Discount Global Travel, at 16253 Laguna Canyon Rd Ste 100, Irvine, California 92618, Telephone 949-727-3440, has failed to deliver ANY of the products and services that we were promised when we entered into agreement. All recent attempts to contact Discount Global Travel have remained un-answered.

It is very apparent that you are operating a fraudulent business. The travel agency promised that they would provide the cheapest travel fares and accommodations, including air travel fares. They even claimed that we could not find cheaper fares ourselves, anywhere and especially on the Internet. The salesperson told us that it was indeed impossible for us to find cheaper travel anywhere. We specifically mentioned companies such as Priceline and Expedia.com, and he said it would be impossible for us to find a cheaper rate through those companies, because we were not travel agents. We were told that by joining and paying for the program we would become full-fledged travel agents and would be able to access cheaper rates world-wide.

The fact is that we found it to be quite a trivial task to find cheaper fares and travel packages, even when calling the airlines directly. The travel agency had promised to pay us the difference if we were in fact able to find a cheaper rate. On three occasions in the past six months, we have needed travel arrangements including airfare, hotel and car rental. We attempted to make all arrangements and book through Discount Global Travel, however each time we were able to find cheaper rates, and Discount Global Travel did not deliver as promised. Each time we contacted the travel agency and they gave us the run-around. Eventually after many telephone calls, we were able to talk to a manager who told us that they would honor their original agreement and give us a refund equal to the difference between the amount they quoted and our actual purchase price, through the airline. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED WE HAVE NEVER RECEIVED ANY REFUND AND OUR CALLS HAVE REMAINED UNANSWERED.

You claim that our contract is with your company; however my copy of the contract shows that it is with Discount Global Travel. Your company name is not mentioned anywhere on my copy of the contract. Furthermore, the contract states that disputes are to be resolved through some Arbitration Association. Therefore, threatening to take us to court is against the terms stated in the contract.

So, it sounds like to me that this contract was fraudulent from the beginning, and our payments to your company have been made in a timely manner, however you claim you have no responsibility to honor any of the promises in the contract, including the discounted fares, and the FREE TRAVEL PACKAGE that was never honored.

Therefore, we flat-out refuse to pay your company any additional funds, and demand that you refund all money we paid you ($783.60). Attached is a detailed report showing all monies paid to your company, with the dates of the transactions. Also, I have enclosed copies of our signed contracts, and your letter demanding payment, for your reference.

This client has been cancelled and refunded in full. Our company decided to refund this particular client in full because they were an undesirable client to service. Our service saved this client a substantial amount of money on every request they put in. Our specialty is discounting resort condos. We guarantee the lowest airfare available at the time of booking for flights that are similar. This client asked for non stop flights with exact times of departure and arrival on a specific airline. Priceline does not offer this. If the client was using Priceline they would not know when they were leaving, which airline they were on, where they had a layover, or for how long. This is not a similar airfare which is why our guarantee does not apply. We beat Expedia because we do not charge service fees as they do. This complaint is fraudulent, baseless, malicious, and inaccurate.
