When my cable service doubled in price, I decided to try Dish Network. Embarq, my local phone co. offered to bundle my TV/PHONE/IT. service & save me hundreds of dollars a year. I never imagined the HORROR of what this one error in judgement was going to cost me. Now I know, and so do all of you.

I don't have anything new to share here. After reading through the last twenty-or-so  posts I can see that it's just "buisness as usual" for Dish Network.

It started with the multiple botched install visits, followed by multiple billings for that "free installation". At one point, they actually came to my home and installed 1950's style "rabbit ears" on my HDTV - and then stuck them to the wall with duct tape! And no, I'm not kidding. My husband came home from work and could not believe I was serious, he was looking for the hidden cameras. This was just a funny story, until we got the bill. 

Then our monthly "surprise", my fault of course. Customer no-service informed me that if I had ordered my package deal "properly"-none of this would have happened. Every bill is an adventure with Dish Network. It's like a carnivale game that you can never win. How many times can you call and straighten things out, only to find an even larger bill to contend with the following month? After one year of this B.S, I figure they have beat me for at least $1000.00 in bogus charges.

-And the sickest part is, I'm afraid to cancel. Because I know it only gets worse.
