Distant Palms Vacations Priceless Times I received a call from a company identifying itself as the Marriott offering a 6 day 5 night stay. To learn more I had to press 1, I did and an agent immediately picked up the call. The offer allowed for an initial payment of $299 and 3 subsequent payments of $233 over three months. Instead they placed unauthorized charges of $346, $578 and $200 all within 5-6 days. When I demanded a refund they refused it and instead tried to offer additional packages for low costs. I reported them to the FTC and the Better Business Bureau. Cancun Internet

On 3/25/16, I received an automated call from the Marriott offering a 5 night stay.  To know more about the deal, I had to press 1 and I did.  i trust the Marriott.  i was then transferred to an agent who said taht my number was shared with them by the Marriott and that they were an affiliate.  They offered two 6 days 5 night packages at various destinations for $999.  I initially declined until they explained that they offered a payment plan and a 30 month open window to plan my vacation.  The deal could even be transferred to family or friends.

I accepted to make one payment of $299 and signed a contract for a three month payment plan (for three $233 payments).  On 3/28 another charge of $578 was processed without my authorization.  I demanded a refund to my creditor and a cancellation.  Distant Palms Vacations gave me the runaround and instead offered other deals too good to be true.  At this point i proceeded to report them.  I did not even receive the required passwords to access the vacation planner on their website.  The initial form requires information about income and occupation for travelers - none of it require to make hote reservations.
