Distress Homeowners Assist Line - DHAL (affiliated with North American Capital and California Pacific Mortgage) uses Telemarketers to make cold calls to homeowners in financial distress.
These homeowners are told they are talking to a Non-Profit Organization when in fact they are talking to marketing firm.
The information obtained from the homeowner is then parsed out to lawyers and real estate brokers. These brokers in turn call these qualified leads and armed with the tremendous amount of personal information (obtained from the homeowner in good faith by the so called non-profit organization Distress Homeowners Assist Line DHAL) these lawyers and firms try to sell expensive loan modification packages to the homeowner. The homeowner has no idea where these lawyers and firms got this information. The connection between Distress Homeowners Assist Line and the Lawyer or Firm is kept secret.
Every time money is received from one of these homeowner leads by a lawyer or firm for a loan modification, Distress Homeowners Assist Line receives a substantial commission estimated to be from $1000 to $1500.
Distress Homeowners Assist Line is clearly for profit only and has no scruples in lying point blankly to the public.
They also are famous for hiring people, having them work for a month and then not paying them. Law suits against this Distress Homeowners Assist Line and Brandi Oliver have already been filed.

I didn't know that is was such a horrible place to work for. I really thought they were trying to help people. And I also thought I was going to get paid. It never happen and I'm not the only one this happen to. So here some personal information I how on some of the people that work there. I hope that this will help someone out there.
