Dmitry Alexander Laasi Ripped off from a Craigslist Ad for a Southwest Airlines gift card from Dmitry Alexander Laasi Oakland CA

On Sept. 12th, 2018. I responded to a Craigslist ad posted by "Dmitry Alexander Laasi" via 5102980401 that I found for a Southwest Airlines $250 gift card for the price of $120. I texted the number 5102980401 but did not receive a response until Sept. 19th, 2018. The male identified himself as Dmitry Laasi and requested Paypal payment to Dmitry Laasi to a Verified Paypal account.

I sent immediate payment and requested email receipt of images of the gift card. Once payment was received, I demanded an email within one hour then they stated they had emailed which was never received. When I demanded receipt and text image of the gift card, they continued to claim they had emailed the information and that their email was blocked. I have all documentation of the text messages, identified Dmitry Alexander Laasi age 21 who reports (((REDACTED)))  Oakland CA (((REDACTED))).

I am filing a complaint with Paypal, Craigslist, Oakland Police Department, Alameda County District Attorney’s Office Consumer Protection Unit, the Internet Fraud Complaint Center and Southwest Airlines Fraud Protection Unit, as well as pursuing all possible legal action against Dmitry Alexander Laasi.
