In December I visited a website called DoctorsForPain.com. The lady that owned in named Gerri Plehn was advertising for a Marketing and Web Design. I started a full marketing campaign and once I finished the website and marketing she made up an excuse to let me go so not having to pay me a commission and keep the profit to herself. If you cantact this lady about work she will pay nothing upfront and promise commission which will not happen. Beware of this lady and her site.

Rebuttal to Gerri Plehn, owner of www.doctorsforpain.com

AUTHOR: Steveo - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, July 10, 2010

Mrs. Plehn is a very vindictive woman and her history with web designers shows it. I have many emails of the changes I made that I ran by her. I am not sure if she can't remember or if she is an habitual liar but in any case if you come across this woman do not do ANY work unless she pays you up front. Proof of her vindictive nature is posting my name on the front of her website, who does that. I don't want anything to do with her company and she knows it. Her database is useless. All it contains is the name and addresses of doctors and most of them don't even have anything to do with pain. I have emails where the service she was using to host her site she was doing so fraudulently. She was not being billed for the services she was receiving and she instructed me not to call them about anything and that she wanted me to move her site to godaddy. I have emails after emails to prove what type person she is and what I have stated as truth. As for the link I put in it was to my site because I was doing work on her site as this is what most web designers do. She will have a rebuttal to this statement as well because she HAS to have the last word as for me I am done with this. If you do decided to take on working with her GOOD LUCK!

Stephen Maddaloni is a con man -

AUTHOR: Gerri - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 13, 2010
I had placed an ad on my site which read "Wanted Marketing Director to work on commission basis"
There was never any mention of wanting any web site work. This was part of his con.

He ask for access to my files so he could set up a marketing program.  He was suppose to run everything by me before publishing.  Before I knew what was going on, he had gone through the site and made many changes.  He was suppose to provide a marketing program.  When he did not come up with anything, I referred him to numerous sites that accepted ads to give him an idea of what was happening. He sent me one he said he did and I told him he could not use as he had copied from another site.  I warned him of honesty at all times to avoid any legal problems.  Few days later, he sent me another one.  This time I could see he had once again copied a page which turned out to be from a major pain site and all he did was place our name in where their name was.  I once again told him a big NO.  I heard nothing else so assumed he got the idea and that was ended.  He still had not set up a marketing program.

He even designed a very commercial site and wanted me to change over.  I told him no as I liked the site to have a more friendly look and not congested with lots of columns and boxes and did not want the site changed.  He deleted it - so he said.

Shortly after Christmas I stopped hearing from him.  He would not respond to my email.  I sent him a final notice and told him he was not to touch the site again.  A few days later he responded and wondered why I was so angry.  At the same time I began having emails from some doctor's offices saying they had been contacted by him and his wife trying to solicit ads.  I had never seen anything else or knew anything about these mailings.  I ask one office to send me a copy of his eMail .  Then I heard from another office in Chicago.  Same thing only this time they agreed to place an ad and sent him $1000.00 which he forged the endorsement of my company name and cashed and never told me a thing.  I found he had set up a bank account in Canada to process any payments instead of send to me as one would expect. No way I could ever pay him anything since I never knew anything. I guess he did not know I would find the account.  They told me he had 2 other accounts and that security had a watch on him.   Suddenly they say I owed them the money for all his work which I never ask for so they kept the check.  What he did was on his own without my permission and I had to remove.  I do not know how many of these notices they mailed out or if they collected any other money under my name.  I have filed with the FBI and then my local police so he is being investigated.  I understand he may be involved in off shore drugs and had other complaints about his activities.  Just never been caught so far.  I continue to hear from individuals he has tried to con in the past.

After  searching my files more I found he had also hidden embedded links to his personal website on my pages. I realized he wanted access to my site so he could copy the info for his site and copy the database.  He has several sites that I have found so far.  They do tele-medicine and drugs without RX's from what I'm told so that is one of the reasons he wanted my database.

I do not know if he is continuing to use their data to advertise his sites but wonder especially since he is now using mine.  All of the email addresses he used with either Doctors For Pain or Medi-sistant were set up by him without my permission or knowledge and I cancelled them when I found out.  He had over 17 that I have found so far.

He knew that I wanted to set up this marketing program to help off-set the expenses of the site as I wish to see that it remains forever to continue to help those in chronic pain as was my late husband's desire to always help patients.  He has destroyed his honorable memory in just a short matter of time that my husband worked all of his life to maintain.   This is not an individual that you want to work for you in any way.
His wife, Amanda is just as involved.

I can provide witnesses to document my claims and of course copies of all of his eMails.  DoctorsForPain.com is an honorable site.
