Dodge Corporation Passed off any responsibility for mechanical failure Waipahu Hawaii

Own a 2005 Dodge Ram truck. Eight months ago while traveling 50mph on a smooth highway......the Drive Shaft just completely fell out from the bottom of the vehicle onto the high way. Vehicle was repaired at their total expense due to Power Train Warranty was just barely in effect (72K miles) on a 75K Warranty.
I now have 83K miles on my vehicle and the complete wheel seperated from the HUB losing total control of the vehicle, to include the wheel itself.

Please note......I am very, very, very lucky to be able to write this letter to those that read this, in both cases.

Dodge is now telling me that because the warranty has passed (75K), they are not responsible for the repair/damage on what was determined by them as "mechanical failure" of the wheel seperating from the Hub. The total repair/damage is has come to the tune of $6,000.00+.

IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE........?

This vehicle is only 4-5 years old....not 10, 15, 20+...!
