Don Lapre, Universal Business Strategies Guaranteed refund within 30 days no questions asked, NO refund, Scam, Rip off Artist, Phoenix Arizona

In August 2002 I purchased one of Universal Business guaranteed money making package. Then in Sept. I purchased 4 more programs that required me to do nothing but sit back and watch the money come in. Everything was guaranteed with a 30 day no questions asked policy. NOT!

I had invested over $5,000 and was not pleased with any of the products. Therefore I requested my refunds in the time specified, and was told my credit cards would be credited in 7 -10 days. Weeks passed. Months passed.

I placed calls reguarly inquiring about my refund. I was told the same story in was being processed. Then during one of the later calls I was told there was only one person processing the refunds and there were hundreds of people in the same position I was. Cindy (customer service) told me I would just have to wait, she had no idea how long. Another call, my refund had been sent to be processed.

Now to make a long story short. No Refund. Cannot reach company. Contacted the BBB in Phoenix and filed a complaint. They would not respond to the BBB. Found out they were filing Bankruptcy, called the court, filed the necessary papers to make my claim on the funds due me. Well company didn't file the papers on time, therefore, as of last month they had not filed bankruptcy.

It seems that if there are hundreds of individuals rip-off, scammed like me, that somehow we could file a class action civil suit against them. (I guess that is the type of lawsuit)

If anyone knows anything that might help me get my money back please let me know.
