I had a letter dated 22/02/08 from Winterthur Seguros Compania S.A that I have been approved for a lump sum of money payout of 615,810.00Euros with a batch number from a total cash prize of 12,316,200.00Euros by a drew lucky numbers which much my name as a lucky winner.

I new perfectly well what they were all about and went ahead to complete the attached claim form and fax it to them, because I thought well, there's no premium number to call for any code it is just a form without thinking about my identity.

I had a phone call from Dr Antonio Lopez (agency) on the 26/02/08 after sending the fax, confirming my identity, address and the claim, that I am the sole beneficiary of the said claim (615,810.00Euros) and hence wished me CONGRATULATIONS. He again reminded me of agency's 10% after the cheque has been cleared.

On the claim form I ticked for a Certified Cheque instead of a Bank Transfer, for this reason I was contacted on the phone by Carlose Morelis (Bank Manager) notifying me of a cheque that has been issued in my name and its about to leave Euro zone to Pounce zone, he further said to me because the cheque is more than 500,000USD I will have to insured and legalized the Cheque and also paid for a diplomatic delivery, all will cost 1620.00 if this payment is not made the cheque will not leave Spain. From this moment I said to myself, yes this is where it all begins.

I phone the so called Bank Manager (Carlose Morelis) today 03/03/08, that I am preparing to fly to Spain and collect the cheque myself rather than posting and therefore need the full details of the Bank that is holding my cheque. He told me the 1620.00 will still be paid whether or not I fly over, I should also contact my agent for any Bank details.

Dr Antonio Lopez (agency) phone me this afternoon wanting to know when I intend to visit Spain, he told me they can accommodate when I come BUT I should come with the full 10% of agency's share of the lottery money and the Bank's legalization charges before they can lead me to the Bank to collect my cheque.

I don't think these guys are Spannesh, they sound more West Africans to me.
If there's any way of stopping this fraudsters, we should all contribute before they do it to you.
