Dr-E-Pro - E-Pro Auction Bilked by Dr-E-Pro Misleading information on website ripoff Orem Utah

e-Pro Auction (Dr-E-Pro) had an advertisement on a point-earning website I am a member of. I signed up for the offer after reading the information given. I was lead to believe I was going to receive a cd rom telling me about using ebay auctions and I paid $1.00 from my charge card. I was under the impression from the material presented that if I decided not to use the software or proceed to use ebay under their program, there would be no charges.

They proceeded to begin charging my credit card $49.95 monthly and by the time I noticed what was going on, they had charged 2 or 3 payments. I called them and they credited back one and refused to credit the others, stating I should have called them to cancel the service.

I was not aware at the onset that I was actually signing up for a service, and after the cd and information came in the mail, I changed my mind and threw it away. I explained this to them, but they still refused to credit my account.

I am now disputing the charges with my credit card bank, who initially gave me a temporary credit, but then placed the charges back on my account as I did not have any information retained to send to them.

At this point, I am lodging a complaint against Dr-E-Pro for misleading information and fraudulently charging my credit card.

If I can get no resolution from my credit card company, I will also need to lodge a complaint against that company of which I have been an excellent customer.

I would advise anyone who sees advertisement from Dr-E-Pro, or ePro-Auctions online to NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE OFFER!
