Re: Dr. Ellen Vale

AUTHOR: Karen - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, November 01, 2006

Hello, I just rec'd 'Dr. Ellen Vale's' letter as mentioned above. Last week I also rec'd a letter from 'Van Trapp'. Within the last 6 months I rec'd letters (many) from Maria Duval also. About 6 months ago I answered Maria Duval's letter and didn't receive the reading as she described.

In my opinion, I believe that all three of these women are connected. They all have same fonts and coloring in their letter, etc. Also if you notice all three are blondes, who wear the exact same hair & wardrobe style and accessaries, earrings, rings and watches, etc. I believe that they probably share info and when one is not able to get money from a particular individual, the next one swoops in for the play.

It is too coincidental that these letters arrive so close together, with the near identical information, claims and promises! I have learned my lession, and found out that the longer you do not respond the more outragious their claims become.
Lets hope that these women are exposed for what they are!

Consumer Suggestion

AUTHOR: Jennifer - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 05, 2006

I too have gotten mail from both Dr. Ellen Vale and Dr. Marissa Von Trapp - surprisingly enough they both have the exact same address, right down to working out of the same site #3, and use almost the same Font style. I got the letters just about a week apart - one would think being in the same office they would at least use different mailing lists. Good names though - Vale rhyms with jail, and well I guess Trapp means trap. I will hold both letters for awhile incase any Legal Begal is interested.

For those that are desperate to believe, ask yourself this - with that much ability sitting in one room - why do we still have poor and homeless people all over this country, why do we not have cures for devestating illnesses, why have you never heard of these miracle workers in the past? I would think they would have been on the news somewhere.

For those so desperate to believe - if God were to pass on such "gifts" to help the poor and desperate He would not pass it to a greedy bunch of women trying to support their Beverly Hills lifestyle from the poor of our country or any other country. If God wants to He will bless you Himself. He does not need a couple women sitting in Beverly Hills mansions to bleed you of your last desperate hope. Keep your eye on where the blessings truly come from, and when all looks so gloomy remember there is someone around the corner worse off than you, then go and lend them a helping hand, it will help you realize just how blessed you really are. I have had plenty of desperate times in my life, and am in the middle of them again - who knows - maybe they get their mailing lists from collection companies, or bankruptcy court listings. I doubt they contacted Pres. Bush, Bill Gates, or the last lottery winner - they are only preying on the desperate. They are no different than the rest of the world they only want more for themselves - the sad part is they act like vulchers picking the bones of the already financially dead.

Since they both claim to have this gift granted to them from God I for one take offense, and am insulted - don't blame God for your faults, quit using God as an approach to rip off the poor. Keep charging people the out landish rates you quote, if someone can afford those prices for this kind of thing at least you will NOT have taken what they need so desperately.

I know God, and Jesus loves me, and I will leave my faith in the Masters hands. He will not "mis-read" anything by accident, or loose my $25.00, or my return address, and I have never heard of Him being greedy, or living in Beverly Hills.

As for Dr. Ellen Vale and Dr. Marissa Von Trapp - you take money from people in Gods name - to HELP them - you better do what you promise or set up a soup kitchen for the needy or something - I would NOT want God mad at me for this kind of thing!

Mail Fraud is a Federal Offense...

AUTHOR: Kathy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, August 26, 2006

... and punishable by law.

This is, as it has been described above, considered mail fraud and all who have fallen prey to this scam-artist's (or any others') tactic should file a complaint with the PostMaster General at their local post office.

If you sent payment (by any means other than cash, since cash cannot be tracked) by mail for the goods and/or services offered and did not receive those goods or services, you are entitled to a refund of that money. If you don't receive a refund for undelivered goods and services, for WHATEVER reason, you have a right to file a claim and press charges.

Get a copy of the cleared (cashed) check from your bank, (or, if you sent a money order, use it's carbon receipt so it can be tracked for status). Ask your local postal clerk for a mail fraud claim form which you will be required to complete. Submit the completed claim form to the post office and they will take care of it from there.

Be prepared to wait for action though... the wheels of justice, especially where mail fraud is concerned, turn quite slowly.

Best of luck to you.

Can she predict MAIL FRAUD? or Jail time?

AUTHOR: Bonnie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, August 24, 2006

Can't these people be reported for Mail Fraud. They are promising a service but not folowing through.

For Joe, Dr Ellen Vale's address is the same as the address Judy from NC supplied. #3, or Suite 3 same difference.

I also received the same letter in May '06. I also got one from a Miss Elizabeth. She has a P.O. Box number in Las Angelas. Its probably the same person. I have to do some address research. I decided to check them out on this site. I was certain I'd find them here.

I feel if a person has such a gift, they certainly wouldn't charge for it. If I had a gift such as that my wish would be to end poverty.

Stand up for your principles! Notify the Federal Trade Commission. They'll put an end to her enterprise!

Ignore the NAY sayers. Some people want to believe there is something else out there. Especially when all else fails.

Like I mentioned before, this is mail fraud which is a federal offense. Notify the powers that be and let's make our own prediction.

If we get enough people reporting this info to FTC these so-called psychics. Especially if they are livivng in Beverly Hills. I'm sure they owe taxes on the money people have paid to them. I'm sure they won't find this a laughing matter.

God Bless,
Bonnie

Are there two of them

AUTHOR: Joe - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, June 02, 2006

Evidently she has moved as her new address, or the one she sent me, is now 485 S Robertson BLVD #3 Beverly Hills CA 90211.

She also seems to have a very highly skilled competitor in the famed Dr. Marissa Von Trapp. She can be reached at 119 N San Vincente Blvd. #205, Beverly Hills, CA 90211. It is amazing that both of these world-renowned psychics live in Beverly Hills. Or maybe they both work at the same psychic company. If I was shopping for a psychic I would be hard pressed on who to chose as both have god given talents that are unequaled in this world. They are so similar that if not for the different pictures of themselves I would say they are the same people.

I do understand that people believe in psychics and I do understand that people get to a point of desperation and if I wasn't such a cynical atheist there are times that I might have succumbed to these scams. But whether you believe in it or not the one thing you have to ask yourself is when someone offers you something that is priced well beyond reason and then offer it to you for a dirt cheap price you have to ask yourself, what are they leaving out. It is very possible the actual product.

It is a good thing that people continue to tell others about these scam artist, whether you were taken or not, so more people are aware of who they are. These people prey on the vulnerable and need to be stopped. The more that people know about who, or at least what, these people are the more that these scam artist can be marginalized and eventually pushed out of society. Whether this can be accomplished, who knows, but if we keep quiet about these people they will continue to prey on our grandmothers and grandfathers, mothers and fathers, sons and daughters and all others that we love.

Dr. Ellen Vale is a Rop Off Psychic

AUTHOR: Claudia - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, June 02, 2006

Today I also received a letter from Dr. Ellen Vale. She told me, as she tells veryone, only she is able to remove curses. She tries to scare people into sending her a seemingly small amount of money..in this case $25.00.

Those who ridicule those who have succumbed to Dr. Vales fear tactics, should not judge others. Unless you have walked in their shoes, no one has the right to access anothers situation. Some people have no one to turn in times of trouble. These fake psychics prey upon natural human frailties and fears. It is the Internet and websites such as ripoffreport.com which do much to prevent scam artists, and yes they are artists, from enticing and luring their prey.

Wealth and happiness

AUTHOR: Aafes - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 30, 2006

A psychic won't bring you happiness and will do nothing but take any wealth you may have.

You may think the responses were cruel and heartless. It is disturbing, however, that in 2006 anyone would believe a "psychic" is going to predict the future or change their situation. Psychics, palm readers and other sham artists are well documented "cons" that anyone who has read a newspaper or watched television should be aware of. When I read these "psychic" posts I am reminded of a classified advertisement that used to appear in the back of tabloids for years.

In this advertisement the writer stated he would send you a portrait of Abraham Lincoln, struck in copper and polished to a high sheen for only $5.00. The man made tens of thousands of dollars selling individuals a new penny.

My point being, we all want answers, and we all would like something substantial for little. The fact is life is hard, most of us are not prepared for it by adulthood when we are tossed into the world. If we seek advice it should be from those with the years of experience to provide it; be they parents, grandparents, trusted friends, ministers or professionals. To seek advice from a psychic is simply ridiculous.

And as I always wonder. If they are "psychic" why can't they simply "see" the powerball numbers?

WHY ARE PEOPLE SO CRUEL?

AUTHOR: Donna - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 30, 2006

To start off Judy, I completely understand your frustration. We all look for some help when we feel hopeless, and I can share in you quest for help. I can also share in your pain.

To the two gentleman that responded so negatively to you, I am ashamed for them. How can they be so cruel. It is quite apparent that you were expecting what someone had promised and just wanted other people to be aware when it didn't happen. I am glad you only lost $25, but to say you deseved it, is assinine. There are still some of us out there that believe good, honest people exist. That is not stupid!!

Niether one of these gentlemen seemed to have had anything better to do on a Sunday afternoon in October than to come on this site and ridicule people who have been scammed. Get a life.

The reason for my visit to the site was to research this person as my husband also recieved a letter. It promised wealth and happiness, which we are in need of both. Sometimes you feel so desperate that you will try anything.

Maybe Tom and Joe have all they have ever wanted and great for them, but don't be nasty to those of us who don't.

Oh God, this makes my head hurt?

AUTHOR: Tom - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 04, 2005

You are wanting a psychic reading I presume? I will skip the obvious question (not only why do people contract with psychics, but why over the internet). But even if this is a valid profession, what did yo know about her? Goes back to why? Just curious, what expectations did you receive? If she gave you your reading and said that you would be fired tomorrow would that have made you happier? If she said that your husband was going to leave you tomorrow, would that have made yo happier? I guess that I am curious at what you were looking for in the first place. I realize that this board is to report ripoffs, but come on, we have to be intelligent enough NOT to put ourselves in these situations in the first place. When we do (if you allow yourself to be in this situations you WILL BE RIPPED OFF)you have to be responsible enough to accept that what you did was not the brightest thing to do and move on. Sometimes it is our own fault that we ALLOW people to rip us off (I am using US rhetorically). Come on people, start protecting ourselves.

She's psychic enough to see you coming

AUTHOR: Joe - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 04, 2005

I just can't get over the fact that you actually posted this here. If you were STUPID enough to think a psychic is nothing but a sham, then you deserved to get taken to the cleaners. Be fortunate that this was all you got taken for...you got off cheap.

When the hell will people learn to take responsibility for their own actions and realize that pyramid schemes, weight loss miracle pills and psychics all fall into the same scam as the old red barn scam of years gone by.

I just have to laugh!!! Lesson learned...bet you're now psychic enough not to do that again. LMAO!!!!!!
