DR. MARC KERNER & DERMATIQUE BUTCHER OR MONEY HUNGRY PIG? Encino California

In April 2006 I went to Dr. Kerner for an easy procedure called Rhytec Plasma Resurfacing. It was supposed to rejuvenate my face by encouraging the production of collagen. In looking at photos of much older woman than myself, I saw that their faces were fuller and their lines and wrinkles were almost gone.

I was a perfect candidate. No sagging skin and no deep wrinkles. This procedure should have given my face a lift and should have lasted for 8+ years.

During my consultation I told Kerner that I wanted my cheeks back, my lines to diminish, especially under my eyes and also asked if this would take unwanted spots from my face. He said no problem, that he would pay special attention to my under eyes and he would also throw in Scupltra for the cheeks.

I was told that my face would feel as if I had been burned and the skin would slowly peel off to reveal nice new smooth, unblemished skin. This was not the case. I believe that he barely did anything at a cost of $6500.00. I was awake during the procedure and when he thought he was finished and was just about out the door, I had to remind him about the Sculptra.

1 month after the procedure my face did get some of the fullness back, however, my under eyes were more wrinkled than before I had the treatment. I now also have holes in my cheeks where the Sculptra ends. The spots on my face are still there and I don't have the lift that I should have.

I went back and told him I was unhappy with my under eyes. He suggested that I should have Juvederm injected to make the under eyes smooth at a cost of $1500.00. What a mistake!!!! I had to go back 2 more times because he made my under eyes lopsided. I don't feel that he has any knowledge of how to inject Juvederm. From that time on I have had huge bags under my eyes as the Juvederm has not disappeared as it should have. (It was supposed to last 9 mos. to a year.)

When I went back to show him, in May of 2008, he said no problem, he would fix it. He started to give me some type of laser treatment (3 times for about 8 minutes each) that did nothing to alleviate the huge bags, but he did burn me. What a treat. I still have the big full bags under my eyes and I can't afford to have them fixed.

I have sent him a letter and called several times to get my money back but needless to say, he has ignored me.

In my opinion he is either a butcher or he sets his patients up for further procedures, in which case he's a PIG!!!!

Either way, in my opinion, this man can't be trusted. At this point I would not allow him to carve a turkey, much less have him touch my face.

I hope he burns in hell.
