wife takes grandson in for cleaning and ends up paying for unneeded x-rays. no permission given to do it. Was surprised when handed the bill. They refused to give copy of x-rays or files to my wife. they made a scene and embarassed my wife in the office. Treated like a dog.

Was your wife unable to speak up when she noticed x-ray films being placed in the child's mouth in preparation for the x-rays to be taken? The simple fact that she accompanied the child to the appointment indicates "permission" for the work to be done, unless she indicates otherwise. And by the way, x-rays ARE a necessary part of a dental exam, especially in young children.
