On December 12, 2009 my husband and I were lured into a vacation planning presentation. We watched the presentation and spoke with a rep. and we were talked into signing. During the signing we were given as an added incentive a trip for 4 to jamaica and 4 rt airline tickets. These things were written into our contract.
We left there not whole heartedly into the whole thing but figured we would give it a chance. After several weeks of trying to get into our account and many long distance phone calls we were given a visitors pass. Finally about 2 weeks after the 31st of Dec. we were able to log into our account. We are unable to use the navigation assistance so for the past few weeks I have been winging it.
Ok so the prices look decent...however when i decided to try to book a vacation i called regarding a place in the Bhahamas. It was a condo in Nassau for $399 with additional fees. Ok in our meeting we were told that the additional fees were going to be around $30 a day per person this is for an all-inclusive. Big Lie! When I spoke to a rep she was actually embarassed to tel me that the fees per day on top of the $399 condo were $270 per day per person! I was floored.
I have spoken to several reps of the company including Steven Muskett who I am told is an owner. This man is very misleading and very sketchy. Wehn I called him the first time he was apparently going into the hospital. So then I spoke to Walter Elvy whom I thought would be great help. He was not.
I told my daughter that I would check into a vacation that she was hoping to take to mexico from may 14th- May 22. When I received a vacation back from DVR I was told that the condo would be $800 and fees for any all-inclusive are $150 per day per person. This takes me back again to the lies we were told by the people in Vegas stating $30 a day!
I am trying to cancel and have asked to cancel from 2 people in this company Steven Muskett and a woman named Capri. Steven Muskett told me that I cant get my money back. We have payments being drawn from our account monthly. I am stopping them with our bank and filing a complaint. This company is not what it seems.
Of course when we are signing up you can't research the company when you are talking to the people. The whole situation is very seedy. We may have to get a lawyer to recoup any money. If anyone has any suggestions please let us know. We are filing a formal complaint with Better Business Bureau and anyone else we can file with.
We are out $2,000 with this company so far.
