DROPSHIPDESIGN IS NOT HONEST AT ALL ABOUT THEIR SO-CALLED WHOLESALE PRICES!! THEY OVER CHARGE ALMOST EVERY SINGLE ITEM.
HERES AN EXAMPLE: IPOD 512MB AT WHOLESALE IS OVER $100.
THATS CRAZY FOR A WHOLESALE PRICE, WHEN EVERYBODY KNOWS d**n WELL THAT AN IPOD SHUFFLE 512MB AT RETAIL PRICE IS ONLY $99.
AN ALSO THEY CHARGE CUSTOMERS d**n NEAR $10 S&H FOR ANY TYPE OF PURCHASE, EVEN IF IT IS JUST A BOX OF CRAYONS.
THEIR WEBSITE SUCKS, AND YOU DON'T HAVE COMPLETE CONTROL OVER SITE AS THEY SAID.I THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE ACCESS TO A REAL CONTROL PANEL. YOU CAN ONLY GET RID OF BANNERS, CHANGE PRICES, AND SELECT ONLY THEIR OWN UGLY WEB DESIGNS. OH YEA, THAT E-BAY BOOK BANNER AT THE LOWER TOP LEFT-HAND SIDE CAN'T BE REMOVED, MAKING YOUR SITE LOOK TACKY & IS A DEAD GIVE-A-WAY THAT IT'S A TURN-KEY SITE.
ALSO, YOU CAN'T ENTER SITE UNLESS YOU ENABLE COOKIES. THAT IS A MAJOR PROBLEM WHEN SUBMITING A SITE TO SEARCH ENGINES.
TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, THEY ARE SELLING WEBSITES NOT TO REALLY SELL PRODUCT, BUT TO ACTUALLY USE YOUR SITE & USE YOU TO PROMOTE OTHER PEOPLE TO BUY THE SAME CRAP!!!

I Would like to talk with youy regarding the website. Maybe this will help other folks. Also Dropshipdesign has come out with at 1-800 number that you have to susbscribe to to cusotomer service. Other wise you still can use thier ticket system , which has never failed me. Joe

I am an owner of there website. I have found that they give you the we ebsite basics. It's all up to you what you do with it. Have any of the ones complaining about the website no what "ROBOT" does? Or how they crawl the web looking for webpages that have been summited.
If you think for $199.00 you don't have to put any hours into making your website work, your very mistaken. Any website either if you go go through DDS or Yahoo or any of the other places
you can set up your own website, you have to educate yourselves.t networking I have to say any questions I had for DDS they responded to. It is hard work & time consuming just like any other business, and that's the way you have to approch it, plan & simple. There is no such thing as a free ride. *** IT would be a pleasure if Robert could contact me to talk about our websites. Robert how can I get in touch with you regarding any advise you might have. See folks it's all about networking and not giving up on a dream.

I own a website that I purchased from Dropshipdesign. Yes it is true about coockies, but search ingines are not affected by this sense they do not index your site by opening a browser. I am listed on hundreads of search engines, and have many search terms in tha top 30 and quit a few on the first page. Your controle of the web site is considerable. You have controle of all the META tags, How ever you must know how to Optimise them for serch engins.
The one mistake I see with websites that complain about not selling anything is
#1 They have the META Name tag wrong, they put there store name there. This is what is shown at the top of your browser and it is VERY emportant to search engines, 90% of search is this tag. If your selling sony TV's then you should have that in the meta name tag.
#2 meta keywords/ This is often wrong as well, There are plenty of free publications on useing meta tags correctly on the web. heck I will even go to your site for free and take a look and give you suggestions on improveing it for the search engines.
#3 not everyone will buy, its a numbers game. I have alittle less than 1% of my visitors buy. One thing you can do is lower your prices to a profit of 10%, It is easier to sell 10 items at $10.00 than one item for $100.00. and the ebook icon you are complaining about? I love it, as an owner of a DSD website you are automaticly an affiliate to resale there website packages wich means a commission for you, another way to make money. I am reading all these complaints and I can not understand.I have had all my emails answered even the ones where I did complain about something. I am getting search engine visitors to my site, No not pay per click, search results visitors.
I think maybe some people do not understand what is involved in running an online store, maybe they beleive they get a good domain name set their price and people will just come and spend money.
If you have a store, please let me take a look at it, let me give you some advice on it and give it about three weeks and see if you don't start getting some visitors
