Drugs.MD Non-Delivery of Paid for Medicines, Fraudulent Credit Card Billing Internet

Drugs.Md advertises itself as an Internet source for legal, prescription medications. You apply for a specific medication (no controlled substances) and fill out a health questionnaire. It is then reviewed by a physician who then writes a prescription for the medication. When you actually get the medicine that you pay for, it comes from one of a number of contract pharmacies from all over the USA.

It should be noted that Drugs.MD is actually a front for another shadow company that refers to Drugs.MD and its other fronts as "affiliates". It is likely that these affiliates change after complaints cause too much attention and then a new front name is generated. It is obvious that the shadow company is responsible for all of the business activities of their "affiliates". I will refer to this shadow company again in a few moments.

The company advertises reasonable prices for medications and adds in the cost of FedEx Next Day delivery. Generally, the first few medications you order are sent to you very quickly and without any problems. After a few weeks of receiving medications this way, you relax a bit because the company not only seems to be well-organized but honest and reliable as well. This is when they get you!

What happens then is that you order and there is a "problem" with the order. It's either a "staffing" problem or some other nebulous problem that cannot be verified. You find this out when you have to call their "customer service" number. The people that answer their phones are actually some sort of foreign "customer support" service (with poor English skills). They offer numerous ridiculous explanations and excuses (and subsequent promises of repairing the problems) which, of course, never occurs. In the end they will stall you for a while and will never give you concrete data or a true solution.

They also have an online "email" form that they will respond to a few times before ignoring you entirely. Their return emails are never from the same address and they have some sort of random address generator which always changes the addresses (often causing them to end-up in your spam folder rather than in your inbox). Their email respondents are also non-native English speakers as their spelling and grammar reads like an 8 year old. But they do offer the same nonsensical reasons for the non-delivery of what you have paid for. They often blame theirso-called "shipping department", which of course, is fictional (you cannot talk to anyone in that department nor can you email them or even find out where they are).

Unfortunately, I didn't do really good research on these fraudsters until I started having problems. But when I finally looked around online a bit, I found the same pattern of good service, problematic service and then fraudulent activity for each of their victims. Furthermore, since Drugs.MD is only a front operation, there are numerous other front groups that can be checked for complaints. You can determine who is affiliated with the shadow company by comparing the 800 support numbers and their medical history forms. The affiliates of the shadow company may have different web sites but their forms, products and procedures are all the same. Look around a bit and you will quickly learn who is a front for these guys and who isn't.

My final experience with these scumbags was during my phone/email complaint process for the non-delivery of medications, they surreptitiously billed another order on my credit card. This billing was, of course, totally fraudulent and not possibly a "mistaken" billing since there is a limit on how soon you can reorder medications and all of this occurred over about 9 days. That alone makes it obvious that they initiated the charges themselves (just so you know, I never authorized, in ny fashion or form, that last fraudulent billing).

I have filed two chargebacks with VISA. I filed a consumer complaint with VISA against Drugs.MD and their so-called billing service "myrxbill.com"(this is what appears on your statement fairly frequently). I am confident that while I will get my money back, the fraudsters rely on the fact that most people will not go through the hassle. Furthermore, I am filing this report and will do so with online BBB and several forums that I frequent.

If you are contemplating ordering from these guys (including the affiliates), don't do it. If you already have been ripped-off by these scumbags, file a chargeback with your credit card company and initiate a separate complaint with that service (VISA, MasterCard, etc.). After several complaints they will prevent this company from processing credit cards. The idea is to put these fraudsters out of business as soon as the pop-up. It is a continuous process and requires a bit of effort by the people they have stolen from.
