DST ENTERPRISES / ASSURANCE  WIRELESS

I was hired by Angela Smith, as a Field Manager for the Lifeline program, distributing free phones to low income individuals. Since starting 3/24/13, it has been nothing but a headache. Field managers are to be compensated a $500 weekly base plus commissions. Well as of today 5/4/13, I have only been compensated for 2 of the 4 weeks I have actually worked.

DST ENTERPRISES will promise you field support.....actuality,  they provide none. They claim they will provide you with Assurance Wireless logos, banners, signage etc....they provide none. I practically had to beg Angela and Mindy for Assurance t-shirts, so that my reps were not in the field in their street clothes.....shirts only came when the big Assurance inspectors were to arrive at our locations.....btw they only sent 3 for 8 reps???

After not receiving my weekly base yesterday, 5/3/13, for the week worked prior, I received a call from Angela Smith, who stated the mystery DST ENTERPRISES CEO Mark Elie or Ed Brandt (not sure, could never get a straight answer about who is in charge), had informed her they were shutting down their Cincinnati venture, of which I manage, and that I and my reps would NOT be compensated the $1, 245 we are owed this week,  until I mail them a Samsung Tablet that was issued to me upon starting. Uh, can you say "ILLEGAL"......and a scam!!!

Don't waist your time with DST ENTERPRISES. They will scam you , just like they scammed me. So sad, I  quit my 9 to 5 for this position. I have small kids and bills....don't know how im going to make it. Thanks, DST ENTERPRISES....you have destroyed my life and my reputation.....remember, my reps have not been paid either.

I have worked with mark and ed and mindy and angela for a very long time now. 

I do not know your situation personally but it is wrong of you to call this a scam!

This job has been the best job I have had in my life!

Everyone you have mentioned have been the most helpful and are wonderful People to work with.  my team and I are always paid right and on time.

When I started reading this I could not believe what I was reading!

It seems to me that you need to get some things straight and quit Blaming people for your screw ups! Maybe you should get a life and a New job because this job evidently isnt for you.  

Mark, mindy, angela, ed, and wes... you guys are the greatest!  

This job has been the best experience of my life.

 I'm sorry Ripoff report, they made me do it. Here is the email I received from Angela Smith on 5/5/13, after negotiating, what I believed would be a settlement to rectify the wrong that had been done to myself and my reps. She wrote, "Sam,   Thank you for accepting ($1,135 settlement). I would say we are almost there but Mark (Elie) just sent me an email saying you posted to Rip Off Report. He insists you remove that before we go further.   My hands are tied. Once you fix this, he has agreed to the $1135.   Angela" I desperately wanted to be paid so I agreed to submit another statement. So after I posted "misunderstanding", they sent me a confidentiality release that I had to sign off on in order to be paid the money I EARNED. Within in this agreement it had a copy and paste paragraph that I was suppose to post on here, that included statements like "I overeacted, DST has always paid me on time what I am owed". Lol yeah right, but I signed it because again, I just wanted to get myself and my reps paid. I was to meet with a DST agent this evening and receive the $1,135, that myself, Mark Elie and Angela Smith, ALL agreed upon. Unfortonately, DST foolishly decided to play me once again. Had they kept their end of the agreement and paid me the settled amount, you all would never know the TRUTH of their deceitful actions.....but instead the DST Agent gave me 1/4 of what was owed to me. BREACH OF CONTRACT!!!!!!! Very dumb DST ENTERPRISES. So here we are. DST ENTERPRISES uses, what I believe to be, very underhanded and shady tactics. Withholding pay until you sign their one sided agreement. I hope the world reads this!!!!! Thank you Ripoff Report......you have given a voice to the little guy.

Misunderstanding

Their has been a misunderstanding between myself,  and DST ENTERPRISES as a whole. I have spoken with Mark Elie and he has informed me that he wants to do everything within his power to rectify this situation.  It appears that their was clerical error that caused myself and my reps to not be paid. Negotiations are taking place now, to settle this all. I apologize for jumping the gun.
