My friend, as soon as you pulled your new trailer off the lot, it wasn't new anymore;  that is a fact of life.  Any number of things could have happened on your way home.  Whether they did or not is of no consequence.

Products are manufactured and sold in huge groups.  The item you received may have been one of the first manufactured and last sold, giving it some age before you took it home.  Non-perishable products (even though the clock IS running on things like tires and valve stems) are not routinely rotated like bread and milk.

As far as the replacement of the valve stems, replacing them is not a big deal and in no way represents something less than new.  The stems will be new...and obviously in better condition than those you bought.  It is a simple procedure and the tire may not have to be removed from the rim, depending on the size of the tire and skill of the technician.

It sounds like Duro offered you a fair deal.  You now own a piece of equipment and as an owner of dozens of pieces of equipment over the years, these things happen...new, old, or in-between. 

I recently bought an inexpensive (as in cheap) yard wagon and as most of these comsumer goods go, it was made in China.  It was in pieces in the carton and required assembly.  The bolts were of such poor quality that the nuts wouldn't even thread onto the bolts! 

Rather than drive 60 miles back to the bargain hardware outlet where I bought the darn thing, I went to the local hardware and bought American sized bolts and completed the job.  Sometimes things aren't worth getting all worked up about...you'll live longer and you may just learn something along the way.

You shouldn't expect new wheels and tires.  Your complaint doesn't indicate a problem with them.  And even if you did get them, you still will have to take them off the trailer in 100+ degree heat to exchange them and re-install the new ones.

So, suck it up, take them to a tire shop or lawn and garden repair shop and get them taken care of.  And get a detailed receipt...in duplicate, if possible.

And if the heat really is such an issue for you, maybe moving to a more moderate climate would be in your better interest.

Maybe you aren't able to do the job.  If so, maybe a friend or neighbor would help you out for a refreshing beverage of his choice.  Hey, just trying to help out here!
