I purchased a vehicle from DW Auto dealers on February 27 2018, it was a 2004 GMC Yukon Denali. My first payment was due April 1 2018. In the contact it states, a payment more then 10 days late will have a $6 late fee added. I make the payment Saturday April 7th 2018 over the phone, and had a receipt sent via text message. On April 10th the vehicle was not outside when I was getting ready to leave for work, I called the police department to make a stolen vehicle report, they notified me that it was repossessed. I called the company to get answers and was told that David the owner will contact me soon. Later that day David contacted me I asked him why the vehicle was repossessed, after my payment was made. His response was vehicles doesn’t only get repossessed from not making a payment it could have been misleading information. I then asked him what misleading information. He goes to say did you report to us a new job working with the state, we searched the database and it’s a new job. I said you’re wrong, you got that information from my Facebook page when I posted new job with the state. I then told him it was false information I posted to throw off an harasser that knew my current job location. He said well maybe we did get that information from Facebook. He then asked if I was willing to get the vehicle back, because he much rather have someone paying the vehicle instead of going through the hassle with repos but the tow fee will be on me. He then said he’ll give me a call back later that night or the next day by noon.

The next day I didn’t hear from him, but spoke with Kassi at the office, she notified me that David was out the office for that day but he will get back to me. David got back to me the next day and told me the tow fee were $350, I told him I couldn’t afford that due to me having to pay other bills and that will be over $900 for the month of April on that vehicle alone being that I was going to make my May payment with the check I get from work on the 20th of April. On Friday he texted me, my belongings from the vehicle was at the Fayetteville shop I could come by to get it from 12-2pm Saturday.

I got a letter out my mailbox from David Wiest, the general manager/owner of DW Auto Dealers INC. The letter was dated April 11th 2018, and said I have 10 days to retrieve my personal belongs (which were at that time supposed to had been in a city an hour away where the tow company was located), out the vehicle or either pay the balance plus $500, for the repo fee. On April 12, I have a text in my phone from David saying the repo fee was $350.
